Our clients had a 2 car garage with small bays - not large enough for their vehicles. The garage was rear facing, so there required a lot of asphalt to drive around the home and park. We remodeled the space to create a larger, front-facing bay and new entrance. This enabled a spacious mudroom and new entry. This new condo lacked any seating and had minimal storage. To address this problem, we created an island that enables seating and storage. We also installed new counter tops and a very masculine back splash. The lighting in the condo was tricky as the ceilings were concrete, so we came up with a shallow t bulk head that enabled us to install pendants above the island.
