This refined transitional kitchen remodel blends timeless design with modern functionality. Light shaker-style cabinetry is paired with warm wood accents, including a custom statement island and matching wood range hood, creating balance and depth throughout the space. Quartz countertops, a classic white subway tile backsplash, and clean black hardware keep the palette fresh and elevated, while glass globe pendants add a soft modern touch. A farmhouse apron-front sink beneath an arched window brings character and charm, complemented by professional-grade stainless steel appliances and thoughtful storage solutions. Designed for both everyday living and entertaining, this kitchen feels bright, welcoming, and enduring.

The base of all of our bird houses and feeders are made of a solid cellular vinyl, a wood alternative that gives you the look and feel of wood, with little maintenance. The end result is an architecturally pleasing house that looks like wood, but lasts like vinyl. The redwood roofs are made to endure the elements year after year. Our copper tops age over time to a natural patina or you may choose a Blue Verde roof that will give you the patina look right out of the box!

The definitive idea behind this project was to create a modest country house that was traditional in outward appearance yet minimalist from within. The harmonious scale, thick wall massing and the attention to architectural detail are reminiscent of the enduring quality and beauty of European homes built long ago.
It features a custom-built Spanish Colonial- inspired house that is characterized by an L-plan, low-pitched mission clay tile roofs, exposed wood rafter tails, broad expanses of thick white-washed stucco walls with recessed-in French patio doors and casement windows; and surrounded by native California oaks, boxwood hedges, French lavender, Mexican bush sage, and rosemary that are often found in Mediterranean landscapes.
An emphasis was placed on visually experiencing the weight of the exposed ceiling timbers and the thick wall massing between the light, airy spaces. A simple and elegant material palette, which consists of white plastered walls, timber beams, wide plank white oak floors, and pale travertine used for wash basins and bath tile flooring, was chosen to articulate the fine balance between clean, simple lines and Old World touches.

Tradition Trail is lined with towering mature palms; you’re taken by that indefinable sense of place. You’ll find that same feeling in the curve of a proudly manicured green, in the warmth of a gracious welcome, in the sense of all that endures. Perhaps as no other private community in the desert, Tradition Golf Club remains true to the ideals of ultra-exclusivity and understated elegance. There is a blend of Spanish Revival, Early California and Mediterranean architecture.
My Client's second home forfeits none of the grace and charm of the exterior as it leans towards a modern palm desert aesthetic and comfortable interior. Clean lines, expansive glass and a bright color palette create a stunning visual transition from room to room.
Bright colored fabrics reflecting the sky and landscape are used throughout the home. Bold design features like large scaled wallpaper are seen in the both the Dining Room & Master bedroom. The powder bath is completely covered in a beaded wallpaper making it a truly exceptional experience. There is a play with light and the patterns it creates through the custom decorative light fixtures. The artwork was curated by LJLdesigns from San Francisco, Los Angeles and local artists in Pam Springs. A hanging sculpture in the entry niche and a rayon thread 3D art greet you as you enter their home.

Rue Sherwood Landscape Design
An entire yard was redesigned with enduring materials and varied plantings. Stones on site were repurposed into solid walls to create beds for new gardens that are rich in color & texture and provide extended multi-seasonal interest. New bluestone walkways with granite steps and cobble edging create a welcome entry to the front door and back deck. Low voltage landscape lighting is incorporated into the plantings to gently illuminate the front walk. Perimeter plantings offer visual interest at the woodland edge and screening from the street.

"About this Home: Upon entering, the grandeur of the home is immediately apparent, with 15' vaulted ceilings gracing the main living areas and a barrer ceiling in the foyer, creating an atmosphere of openness and airiness. The living space, adorned with cedar beams and a gas fireplace, flows effortlessly into the dining area, which opens to a covered back deck overlooking a large private yard—an ideal canvas for creating an outdoor oasis, perhaps with a pool and pool house.
The heart of this home is undoubtedly the meticulously designed kitchen. A culinary haven, it boasts Jenn Air appliances, custom cabinetry, quartz countertops, and a striking custom hood. Every detail was considered to provide both functionality and aesthetic pleasure. The site-finished hardwood floors underfoot enhance the overall sense of refinement.
The master suite, located on the main level, is a sanctuary of indulgence. The oversized bedroom leads to a spa-like master bathroom featuring a freestanding tub, an oversized shower with dual shower heads, and opulent finishes throughout. Ascending to the second level, you'll find a large en-suite bedroom and two additional bedrooms sharing a Jack & Jill bathroom, ensuring privacy and comfort for all residents.
Beyond the impeccable interior, the home is framed by a generous lot size of 0.7 acres, offering the potential to create a private retreat within the city. The vision for this home was not just to provide shelter but to curate a lifestyle—a life filled with refined comfort, entertaining possibilities, and an enduring sense of home. As the builder, we are proud to present a residence where every detail has been thoughtfully considered, resulting in a timeless masterpiece that will be cherished for generations to come.

This project breathed new life into1940s residence, centering on the transformation of its kitchen into a traditional Craftsman farmhouse masterpiece. The design prioritizes warmth, sophistication, and an inviting atmosphere, with a prominent use of natural wood materials to ensure a timeless and enduring aesthetic. We meticulously reconfigured the kitchen's layout, seamlessly integrating a peninsula and dry bar, and opening the space to the dining room to enhance flow and connectivity. In striking contrast to the kitchen's traditional elegance, we expanded the pantry into a spacious walk-in area, featuring bold wallpaper and custom designs for maximized storage. The adjoining living room offers a relaxed and moody atmosphere, featuring dark furniture, vintage finds, and unique accents—all infused with the family's favorite green hues to foster creativity and comfort.

This project reimagines a 1940s Maple Leaf residence for a young family of four—transforming it into a modern transitional home that feels timeless, warm, and truly lived in. The goal was to balance character with comfort, creating spaces that support daily family life while remaining refined and enduring in design.
Our approach focused on optimizing the space plan to improve flow, storage, and functionality throughout the home. Every decision was guided by how the family lives, works, and gathers, ensuring each room feels intuitive, comfortable, and purposeful without sacrificing beauty.
A cohesive, nature-inspired palette ties the home together. Warm whites and oak tones form a calm foundation, layered with greens and soft blues for depth and balance. From the serene, color-drenched primary bedroom to the playful nursery and the productivity-focused home office anchored by a landscape mural, each space was designed to elevate everyday living while feeling effortlessly welcoming.

The owners hail from Europe and were looking for a home built of materials that would last. The steel frame, cementitious siding, concrete and glass making up the structure will endure for many years, making the house more sustainable.
Built over a basement, the two story home uses two large glass lanterns, or light tunnels, to bring in daylight to all levels. One functions as the stairwell and both exhaust heat through operable skylights at the top. The basement is also daylit by a large exterior light well that creates a small walk-out patio.
The bedrooms open onto a roof deck. Downstairs the secondary bedroom suite is used as a full-time office. The open plan living space and kitchen open to the rear yard to bring in light and view. The front of the house is shaded by an ancient oak tree that was carefully preserved throughout construction.
