In our Brampton project, we had the pleasure of working with a wonderful family full of energy and creativity. A big family means a big need for functionality — but never at the expense of character. Our design introduced a hidden appliance garage, ample storage, and warm brass accents that brought elegance to everyday living. The durable stainless steel appliances checked every box on their wish list. This renovation was also an engineering feat — we removed a structural weight-bearing column, replacing it with a custom metal bridge, and extended the kitchen across the full wall. The result? A beautiful, open-concept kitchen anchored by a spacious island — perfect for both cooking and family breakfasts.

The great room was designed with the intention of a more formal living area, with comfortable and livable furniture. White oak reigns supreme in this modern kitchen, adorning both the cabinets and the island with effortless grace. The cabinets, with their sleek design and light wood finish, bring a sense of warmth and sophistication to the space. Their smooth surfaces gleam in the natural light, creating an inviting atmosphere that beckons guests to gather and linger. At the center of it all stands the kitchen island, a masterpiece of white oak craftsmanship. Its clean lines and minimalist design exude contemporary flair, offering both functionality and style. The light hue of the wood brightens the room, while its natural grain adds texture and depth, creating a captivating focal point.

This beautiful kitchen is the perfect take on a modern farmhouse. It's open and spacious with so many thoughtful details. The top of the island is fabricated with Fantasy Brown Marble. One of the focal points of this kitchen is the stunning backsplash made up of 4x12 metallic glass tiles. The beautiful flooring is an engineered 7' plank brushed white oak that was stained.

ATIID collaborated with these homeowners to curate new furnishings throughout the home while their down-to-the studs, raise-the-roof renovation, designed by Chambers Design, was underway. Pattern and color were everything to the owners, and classic “Americana” colors with a modern twist appear in the formal dining room, great room with gorgeous new screen porch, and the primary bedroom. Custom bedding that marries not-so-traditional checks and florals invites guests into each sumptuously layered bed. Vintage and contemporary area rugs in wool and jute provide color and warmth, grounding each space. Bold wallpapers were introduced in the powder and guest bathrooms, and custom draperies layered with natural fiber roman shades ala Cindy’s Window Fashions inspire the palettes and draw the eye out to the natural beauty beyond. Luxury abounds in each bathroom with gleaming chrome fixtures and classic finishes. A magnetic shade of blue paint envelops the gourmet kitchen and a buttery yellow creates a happy basement laundry room.
