This family room was remodeled to enhance its functionality and design. Built-in cabinetry wraps around the room, and a new fireplace with a brick surround became the room’s focal point. The cabinetry was carefully designed to match the original wood-paneled ceilings of the home, creating a seamless flow between the old and the new. Ample shelving now displays family games, books, and keepsakes, and oil-rubbed bronze library lights highlight these cherished items.

Living Room in Old Paint Drive | Room Type: Entry / Game Room | Project Name: Old Paint Trail | Key Feature: A redesigned front entry game room that serves as a welcoming focal point immediately visible when entering the home. Challenge: The home featured beautiful desert views but felt dark and underutilized. This casual great room needed some updating. New hardwood floors replaced the wall to wall carpeting and are enhanced by a colorful wool area rug. Custom paisley roman shades were added to the alcove along with banquette cushions, pillows, and accessories. The living room is an artful canvas in a soothing cream palette. Luxurious textures and exquisite brass details enhance the refined yet inviting ambience. Handpicked furnishings grace the space, while a magnificent marble fireplace with grey veining commands attention. Custom built-ins showcase literary treasures, complementing the sunlit window seat – a charming reading nook doubling as a dedicated space for game nights.

The TV area is just one of five areas we defined in this spacious lower level family room. We designed all of the spaces so they flow together but are clearly defined. Sports fans in the family enjoy gathering in this area to watch their favorite teams compete.

For this project we converted an old ranch house into a truly unique boat house overlooking the Lagoon. Our renovation consisted of adding a second story, complete with a roof deck and converting a three car garage into a game room, pool house and overall entertainment room. The concept was to modernize the existing home into a bright, inviting vacation home that the family would enjoy for generations to come. Both porches on the upper and lower level are spacious and have cable railing to enhance the stunning view of the Lagoon.

The goal of the client was to have a basement getaway like no other. In addition to their authentic Irish Pub (imported from Ireland) & classic billiard/poker area, they wanted a place that they to gather and watch multiple football games and the occasional movie in luxury while still keeping the pub atmosphere. After meeting with the client, we designed a media retreat that met the homeowners expectations for a getaway that was easy to use and enhanced their decor. We installed an 84" Ultra-HD 4K flat panel, flanked by 2 65" High Definition displays, each can display a different game and switch displays on the fly. The system is controlled by a Crestron Control system as well as the multiple zones of audio through-out the basement and the outside pool area. The Crestron is controlled by the client easily using an iPad with icon driven interface custom programmed by Georgia Home Theater.
