How does your idea of an“outdoor living utopia” compare to the West Austin deck / covered patio / outdoor kitchen featured here? Our clients in the West Austin neighborhood of Westminster Estates wanted a total outdoor living transformation at their home. Archadeck of Austin was happy to oblige. We designed and built a custom, multi-faceted outdoor living space combining several structures. The more you examine these photos, the more you’ll see! In addition to the elevated deck, under-deck patio (dry deck space) and outdoor kitchen, this project includes a privacy wall and an outdoor shower. Yes, a shower!

The Shoshone residence is envisioned as a monumental limestone volume that will house an eclectic collection of art and sculpture. The project examines unique lighting conditions throughout the day by utilizing a series of curved light scoops to direct and filter the illumination. These light scoops vary in size and shape in order to materialize a distinct set of experiences throughout the residence. The project rises three stories connecting the ground level neighboring community gardens to the city-wide panorama from the roof deck above. The vertical circulation linking these moments is contained within the largest light scoop monitor.

Hay Design Incorporated was retained to Study and Analyze the Space Requirement and provide complete Interior Design Services related to 294 m2 of residential space. The primary objective was to examine ways to present interior finishes and preliminary layout, meeting Client requirements and staying within their space envelope. Hay design presented services including functional programming (information gathering, inventory and assessment, equipment usage chart and electrical load requirements, and test plans), schematic design (schematic concept plans and colour boards), and design development (partition layout and finishes plan, and finishes presentation boards).

Library Window Treatment All the original furnishings, prints and artifacts are still in place with the exception of textiles. By the 1970's most of the textiles were quite faded and fibers on the back of window treatments had started to crumble. To protect the remnants, any textiles that were not permanently affixed to the wall were moved to climate controlled storage. Working with staff at the Mercer Museum and Fonthill Castle, we examined these remnants and reviewed research documents. Copies of Mercer's receipts for fabric purchases are still on file! Using this information we sourced new materials and had our workroom custom replicate the original design.

The main propose to design this building was, examinant and create new construction method in cold climate of Hamadan. So we tried to use new dry walls to construct this building. Each of different forms is related to the one function. In other word, the plan has three different spaces with their own special function. Each space has different scale, form and height from others, but the composition of three forms make a united building. The deconstructed form is inspired from deconstruction process of live genetics. It means, we use the main subject of laboratory as a concept to create this building. Funnel form encour-ages people to enter to the building. Moreover, we used warm colors for entrance in contrast with white building. We used Knuaf material and anti-acid ceramic for interior spaces

3D exterior visualization for a Los Angeles house terrace was a beneficial tool for a spectacular presentation. The architect was able to impress his clients with a visual representation of his amazing terrace design idea. The main task of this 3D visualization for a Los Angeles project was to convey the romantic feel about the terrace the Architect created. His clients were stunned by the smart furniture style, soothing pastel colors and the variety of materials - all of which they were able to see in photorealistic quality owing to cgi. The exterior render allowed to examine every detail of sofas’ textile, the stone outside fireplace, the wooden decor etc.
