We specialize in creating custom designed and functional kitchens. Cabinets and built-in furniture require precise engineering, space planning, and an aesthetic eye for balance and symmetry. We have mastered these skills and invite you to examine our work.
Many families spend more waking hours in the kitchen than any other room in the home, so it needs to be both attractive and functional. The challenge of designing a kitchen is identifying what each homeowner wants in terms of functionality, placing appliances and prep areas where they can be intuitively found, and keeping the space neat and attractive. All of these things can be achieved with good design.
As our client, you will be guided through the world of interior options, floor and counter materials, hood designs and many other important details that will define your new kitchen. Working with design professionals who have specialized in this field, we can assure you that your kitchen will be an ideal expression of your needs and lifestyle.

Western Outdoor Design, Landscape Design Process
Our design process begins with an initial consultation to understand and review your style and vision for your outdoor living space. We also work with you to understand how you plan to use the space and the desired feel you would like to achieve. Once these factors are identified, we examine your homes existing architecture to ensure continuity and flow to your new outdoor living space. Taking into consideration locations, views, site conditions and accessibility, we design your outdoor living space to flow from inside your home, out. We can establish a budget to build your project prior to the design phase.
Upon completion of the consultation, our design teams of license landscape architects and landscape designers will translate the vision into conceptual drawings and renderings. A visual presentation will also be prepared to convey the look and feel of the proposed project. Our goal is to come up with a design that is within your budget and surpasses your expectations.
Western Outdoor Design & Build is the ONLY call you need to make. We are your COMPLETE FULL SERVICE OUTDOOR LIVING COMPANY, from concept to completion. #sandiegolandscapedesigner #landscapedesignersinsandiego

Modern renovation by J Design Group is stunning
J Design Group, an expert in luxury design, completed a new project in Tamarac, Florida, which involved the total interior remodeling of this home. We were so intrigued by the photos and design ideas, we decided to talk to J Design Group CEO, Jennifer Corredor. The concept behind the redesign was inspired by the client’s relocation.
Andrea Campbell: How did you get a feel for the client's aesthetic?
Jennifer Corredor: After a one-on-one with the Client, I could get a real sense of her aesthetics for this home and the type of furnishings she gravitated towards.
The redesign included a total interior remodeling of the client's home. All of this was done with the client's personal style in mind. Certain walls were removed to maximize the openness of the area and bathrooms were also demolished and reconstructed for a new layout. This included removing the old tiles and replacing with white 40” x 40” glass tiles for the main open living area which optimized the space immediately. Bedroom floors were dressed with exotic African Teak to introduce warmth to the space.
We also removed and replaced the outdated kitchen with a modern look and streamlined, state-of-the-art kitchen appliances. To introduce some color for the backsplash and match the client's taste, we introduced a splash of plum-colored glass behind the stove and kept the remaining backsplash with frosted glass. We then removed all the doors throughout the home and replaced with custom-made doors which were a combination of cherry with insert of frosted glass and stainless steel handles.
All interior lights were replaced with LED bulbs and stainless steel trims, including unique pendant and wall sconces that were also added. All bathrooms were totally gutted and remodeled with unique wall finishes, including an entire marble slab utilized in the master bath shower stall.
Once renovation of the home was completed, we proceeded to install beautiful high-end modern furniture for interior and exterior, from lines such as B&B Italia to complete a masterful design. One-of-a-kind and limited edition accessories and vases complimented the look with original art, most of which was custom-made for the home.
To complete the home, state of the art A/V system was introduced. The idea is always to enhance and amplify spaces in a way that is unique to the client and exceeds his/her expectations.

Custom Surface Solutions (www.css-tile.com) - Owner Craig Thompson (512) 430-1215. This project shows a master bathroom remodel with porcelain 12 x 24 white and gray veined marble on walls and floors, custom multi-shelf shower niche with marble shelves. and gray hexagon penny tile shower floor.

Our client has traveled the world, collecting what speaks to her. We had boxes of artwork we wanted to hang, we used thrift store frames and a few new pieces to create this installation. We custom built the sofa and table which doubles as two twin daybeds, using apple plywood and thick dowels. The cushions are from Anthropologie. The chair was found locally, tables from Article. The rug was sourced from Morocco. The room was under lit, so we added a George Nelson pendant for maximum wattage. We paired it with a twin in the kitchen for added light and balance.

PBA was brought in to solve many issues throughout the first floor of this home, the most pressing of which was to create a larger and more functional kitchen. After examining several options, the decision was made to create a narrow addition to the side of the house which allowed the design to meet all of the clients objectives. The floor plan was also opened up to allow for entertaining, and a long corridor was enhanced with trim-work to visually break up the length of the corridor, including the creation of a focal point wall at the end of the corridor. Other renovations included a new mud room, and a guest bathroom and awkwardly proportioned music room were completely reconfigured to create a formal powder room, a significantly improved guest bathroom, and a more intimate music room / sitting room.

The glass tiles of the backsplash are stacked in a straight pattern to deviate from the look of the typical brick stacking. Sandblasted glass cabinet fronts add personality to the scheme.
