This guest bathroom was a complete remodel. We removed and enlarged the doorway to the shower and toilet area. The clients wanted this guest room to feel very hotel-like.
We love this custom cabinet painted in this pretty gray/green. The high patterned porcelain tile has the look of marble for that classic feel. Pental Quartz in Cashmere polished. Wall color SW Pussy Willow.
The tub was the only thing we kept from the original bathroom, as it was in excellent condition. We continued the flooring onto the walls and into the shower. We used a small 2 * 2 matching tile for the shower niche layer on the bias. Translucent glass tile in linen for the accent tile. Custom glass sliding shower door.

These young homeowners purchased the house from its original owner, who had meticulously
cared for it since overseeing its construction nearly 50 years ago.
While the home was in excellent condition, it needed updates to better suit the new owners'
lifestyle and growing family. The renovation involved moving a few walls and rearranging key
rooms to optimize the layout for an open, functional flow. A spacious island with seating was
added to enhance the kitchen's usability, along with well-thought-out cabinetry.
The final design reflects the homeowners' contemporary style while preserving the home's
original charm.

The kitchen cabinetry was in excellent condition but it was dark. Experts from Factory Finish Kitchens were brought in to professionally repaint the cabinets white and the island was repainted a striking black. The backsplash was replaced with marble herringbone tiles and there are now two different quartz counters (one statement counter for the island and a more subdued one for the perimeter). The floor tiles were replaced with the same tiles (different size) used on the new gas fireplace. As everywhere in the home, all the lighting was replaced with glamorous and unique fixtures.

The cherry cabinets were in excellent condition, so we kept them and just put new hardware on. The rest of the kitchen is completely new. The porcelain tile floor, quartz countertops, marble backsplash, and all fixtures are new.

Executive home in excellent condition on 2/3 acre lot! Side-entry garage, safe room! Pool recently refinished. Four HVAC zones w/3 new units! Fully equipped theater room. This home sold in less than 1 Month after we Staged it-Staging Works!

The client wanted to update their existing roller shades that were in excellent condition. The window frames are not wired for motorization, so we converted them to battery operated. Small additional deduction was taken to make them fit in the same space. Somfy motors and controls make raising and lowering multiple shades so much easier!

A striking antique four-light chandelier, dating from the 1920’s and found in a home in Montgomery, AL. The iron chandelier begins with an understated canopy with four hooks, chains descend from each hook to support the ring-style body below. The body's iron band is beautifully cast with guilloche and foliate detail; four substantial arms affix to the band and extend to support two-part bobeches. This light fixture is in excellent condition; it has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The chandelier body measures 20-3/8” wide, and the fixture is 18-5/8” long overall.

This 7 year old carriage home was in excellent condition, yet dated with builder special finishes. I removed several pieces within the kitchen, including dated appliances, a few gingerbread valances, brass knobs, yellow paint, and a boring chandelier above the kitchen table area. I added a mixed materials backsplash, new oil rubbed bronze hardware throughout the home on all cabinetry and doors with the exception of the newly remodeled master bathroom. Large imposing faux pillars dominated the dining area, and once removed, allowed the open floor plan to flow. Benjamin Moore Revere Pewter paint was used throughout the house except in the master bath where I used Sherwin Wms. Pediment.
I added custom window treatments to all bedrooms and the living room, and the client opted for new furniture in the kitchen, living room and dining room, rounding out a most lovely new, and improved, transitional style.
New lighting was added throughout the three bedroom home, and a covered room pergolas was added to the exterior patio area.
The client, newly relocated to the Pittsburgh area from New York wanted a very specific master bathroom, and that is what was delivered: a top of the line, sleek, spa-like space that will allow seamless aging in place.
Overall, the project went flawlessly and my client is very pleased with the results.

This client came to us with a unique challenge: create a modern design that matches her fun and funky personality but to make it as "green" and chemical free as possible. We rose to the challenge, researching the best options for sustainable, green and chemical free furnishings. The upholstery pieces are made from sustainable and chemical free materials, the dining table is made of sustainable wood with a chemical free finish. The rugs are from a fair-trade company that supports education for women in India. The client had hired a Feng Shui expert to provide her with a report which we used to design the space. The wallpaper behind the living room sofa is custom designed and custom-made. It is a map made up of hundred of small photos that the homeowner provided to us. It represents the area in her home that will bring travel and connect her to the people she loves. The large, colorful art piece in the dining area is hung in the area of the home that will bring joy around family and children. The hearts and pink/red colored wallpaper in the den will evoke love and relationships.
The client has a colorful, fun personality and we wanted to infuse the design with it. A white backdrop allows all of the pinks, reds, navy blues and turquoises to pop, creating a lively, modern feeling. The textures in the floor and wall coverings and in the fabrics create a lived in, collected feeling and add a touch of bohemian chic style. The new modern cable and walnut stair banister is in keeping with the original modern feel of the row house and keeps the narrow staircase from feeling tight and closed in.
This was a fun, creative and unique project for us. This particular client was one of Olamar's first clients eight years ago when we first opened our doors. At that time the house was nothing but a condemned shell that the client renovated, with our assistance. At that time we designed the kitchen, which is still in excellent condition and still looks amazing!

Fantastic antique Art Deco flush mount fixture dating from the 1930's. The light fixture has an understated fitter with small chains supporting the stunning Art Deco shade below. The original shade features a tapered body with a unique starburst design and stepped, ziggurat edges . This flush mount is in excellent condition with no cracks or breaks to the glass, just the expected fleabites around the rims. It has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The fixture measures 8-3/4" wide by 7-1/4" tall overall.

Handsome antique cast iron Tudor five-light chandelier, circa 1930, and made by the Virden Company. The fixture begins with a hammered canopy, coming down in a chain to a loop finial ornamented with a stylized pair of dogs’ heads. Below the finial, the chandelier body is supported by chains hanging from five trefoil hooks. Each chain is accented by a foliate medallion. The ring-shaped, cast iron chandelier body features a hammered texture and an underside decorated with abstracted foliate designs. Extending from the chandelier body are five arms, formed of stylized fleur-de-lis, which support hammered bobeches with twisted finials. On the underside of the chandelier, volute details converge into a foliate medallion, from which hangs a scroll-and-leaf finial. This light fixture is in excellent condition. It has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The chandelier body measures 18-1/2" wide, 22-1/2" tall, and the fixture is 31-1/4" long overall.

This was a fun project. The countertop for this kitchen is the original. The material is Tennessee marble and there is a handwritten date on the bottom side, written by the original fabricator, of 7-13-(19)06.
The original legs were about 4" shorter, but new feet were added to the bottom to raise the counter. We cut the splash to height, to fit under the window ledge, repolished all of the pieces, before reinstalling it.
The two sink bowls are made of wood overlaid with thin sheets of silver. They were still in excellent condition, and a little bit of silver polish and elbow grease brought them back to life.

A fabulous pair of antique single-arm sconces, salvaged out of a home in Indiana and dating from the 1920s. Each cast iron sconce features a hammered backplate with subtle traces of darkened nickel plating and is crowned with pierced foliate detail; a single arm extends from the bottom of the backplate to support a gadrooned wax pan with a spike finial. They would be perfect for Tudor, Spanish Revival, French Country or Old World spaces. These wall lamps are in excellent condition and have been professionally rewired; they come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. Each sconce measures 12-1/4” tall, 4-1/2” wide, and project 5-5/8” from the wall.

Traditional front entry with a firm nod to the arts & craft movement, uses deep brown wood tones on the oak flooring and matches to the stair posts and rails. The original front entry door had remained in excellent condition for 20 years and only needed a slight touch up on the stain.
