A glass shower divider gives the space an open feel. The vanity area includes a white countertop and dark wood cabinetry with brass hardware, blending warmth with contemporary sophistication. A large, round mirror hangs over the sink, framed by pendant lights, adding style and functionality. The natural light from the window brightens the space, while a small vase of flowers adds a fresh, organic touch.

-Add calculated runways of recessed LED lights on dimmers
-Lighting leads to dynamic marble back splash behind range on back wall
-New double islands & ceiling-high cabinetry quadruple previous counter & storage space
-9’ island with seating includes three workstations
-Seating island offers under counter electronics charging ports & three shelves of storage per workstation in cabinets directly in front of stools
-Behind stools, lower cabinetry provides one drawer & two pull-out shelves per workstation
-7’ prep island services 48” paneled refrigerator & 48” gas range & includes 2nd sink, 2nd dishwasher & 2nd trash/recycling station
-Wine/beverage chiller located opposite island sink
-Both sink spigots are touch-less & are fed by whole-house water filtration system
-Independent non-leaching faucet delivers purified, double-pass reverse osmosis drinking water
-Exhaust fan for gas range is hidden inside bridge of upper cabinets
-Flat, easy-to-clean, custom, stainless-steel plate frames exhaust fan

Wet bar - traditional medium tone wood floor and brown floor wet bar idea in Columbus

Built on Frank Sinatra’s estate, this custom home was designed to be a fun and relaxing weekend retreat for our clients who live full time in Orange County. As a second home and playing up the mid-century vibe ubiquitous in the desert, we departed from our clients’ more traditional style to create a modern and unique space with the feel of a boutique hotel. Classic mid-century materials were used for the architectural elements and hard surfaces of the home such as walnut flooring and cabinetry, terrazzo stone and straight set brick walls, while the furnishings are a more eclectic take on modern style. We paid homage to “Old Blue Eyes” by hanging a 6’ tall image of his mug shot in the entry.

Our client wanted to convert her craft room into a luxurious, private lounge that would isolate her from the noise and activity of her house. The 9 x 11 space needed to be conducive to relaxing, reading and watching television. Pineapple House mirrors an entire wall to expand the feeling in the room and help distribute the natural light. On that wall, they add a custom, shallow cabinet and house a flatscreen TV in the upper portion. Its lower portion looks like a fireplace, but it is not a working element -- only electronic candles provide illumination. Its purpose is to be an interesting and attractive focal point in the cozy space.

Our client wanted their dream home to be an informal place where they could easily entertain and enjoy themselves. We were awarded the interior design and architectural specification package, which allowed us to recommend substantial alterations prior to construction, including raising the ceiling height, removing walls, reconfiguring rooms and entrances, and specifying appealing ceiling, wall and flooring treatments. In this dining room, we added a partial wall and a dark, wood stained transition arch. The partial wall increases the feel of privacy in the room. We cut wallpaper into squares and turned each square when hanging it, to create a subtle, textured visual effect. Each corner has nail head accents. We added a gothic-inspired valance to the window treatments and integrated the drapery cornices into crown molding. This creates crown molding along the room's perimeter with a flowing, seamless appearance.

An entry area to the home, this family laundry room became a catch-all for coats, bags and shoes. It also served as the laundry hub with a collection of portable drying racks, storage shelves and furniture that did not optimize the available space and layout. The new design made the most of the unique space and delivered an organized and attractive mud and laundry room with bench seating, hooks for hanging jackets and laundry needs, integrated wall drying racks, and lots of convenient storage.
