Built to the exacting standards of a young, self-made couple, this design exemplifies their taste: clean, clear, crisp and ready for anything life may throw at them.

Santa Monica Modern is a stunning single family residence perched atop a hill overlooking Santa Monica Bay. Featuring All Weather custom aluminum windows and doors throughout, this gorgeous project was a recipient of a 2024 AIA Los Angeles Residential Architecture Award, which exemplifies the highest standards of design excellence, creative execution, and transformative impact on urban landscapes.
Designed by Dimster Architecture, the 3 bedroom, 5 bath, 3,550 sq. ft. Santa Monica Modern residence sits on a 7,200 sq. ft. corner lot and stands out for its meticulous attention to detail and elegant curvature of its designs. An L-shaped scheme maximizes privacy towards the streets while exposing the interior to the garden and afternoon sun, encouraging indoor/outdoor living. The building mass is divided between two separate structures and is both articulated and accentuated with curved carvings.
The sunken living room features 10-foot tall All Weather Series 8100 multi slide doors in stacking and pocketing configurations on two sides for a pavilion feeling and serves as both passive cooling and a direct connection to the yard and pool. By combining the kitchen, dining room and den, the home offers flexible spaces for entertaining, meditation, work and hobbies and the potential for future multi-generational living.
A simple stair, concealed behind an open screen, leads to the second floor. The master suite spans the building’s width, while other bedrooms enjoy unique treetop views and expansive daylighting with All Weather Series 6000 operable and fixed windows.
Throughout the house, a cohesive and calming palette of materials and textures, the natural wood siding, and the beige concrete block wall adds an unconventional element and completes the concept.

Designed as a hardworking secondary kitchen, the scullery balances traditional detailing with refined material choices to create a space that is both functional and visually consistent with the rest of the home.
Custom inset cabinetry in a soft neutral finish establishes a classic foundation, while warm brass hardware and plumbing fixtures introduce quiet richness. A textured apron-front sink becomes the focal point, centered beneath the window to take advantage of natural light and exterior views. The wall of vertical reeded paneling adds architectural rhythm and subtle dimension, elevating what could have been a purely utilitarian space.
Natural stone countertops continue the material story found throughout the home, ensuring continuity from primary spaces into service areas. Layered lighting, including a tailored wall sconce, brings a residential feel to the room rather than a back-of-house aesthetic.
This scullery exemplifies the project’s philosophy: even the most functional rooms receive the same level of attention to detail, material quality, and visual cohesion as the primary living spaces.

Widesky Custom Homes has recently completed a stunning new build in the community of Bearspaw, southwest of Calgary, and Rochelle Cote Interior Design (RCID) had the pleasure of collaborating on the interior design. The project reflects RCID’s expertise in blending luxury, functionality, and timeless aesthetics to create spaces that are both stylish and inviting.
The home showcases a harmonious mix of traditional and contemporary elements, resulting in a transitional design that feels fresh yet classic. RCID’s thoughtful approach is evident in every detail, starting with the kitchen. The unique hammered metal-look tile backsplash from Centura adds texture and visual interest, contrasting beautifully with the plaster hood fan for a balanced and sophisticated look. The wood island, complete with turned posts, introduces a sense of timeless elegance that complements the transitional style.
In the living area, RCID incorporated a stone fireplace paired with custom wood beams to create warmth and character. These features highlight the firm’s ability to integrate natural materials seamlessly into luxurious interiors. The selection of furniture, décor, and custom artwork further enhances the home’s aesthetic, blending darker cool tones with vibrant pops of color for depth and personality.
This Bearspaw residence exemplifies RCID’s commitment to crafting spaces that reflect their clients’ unique visions while ensuring comfort and style.

A vibrant office that exemplifies luxury interior design through color, texture, and curated contrast. Floor-to-ceiling blue built-ins create a dramatic library backdrop, framing a plush sofa and layered seating in rich, complementary tones. Designed by Andrea Schumacher Interiors, the space mixes modern and vintage elements, from patterned upholstery to sculptural lighting and collected objects. This Denver living room design demonstrates how bold color and thoughtful styling can create a space that feels both elevated and deeply personal.

We created an airy space between the guest rooms on the upper floor to welcome family and visitors alike. Even though this floor has quite a number of private bedrooms, bathrooms, gym (& more) it feels interconnected instead of dark and compartmentalized.
The glow of natural light streams in from the well-placed windows - highlighting the circulation space and making it inviting. The custom handrail adds a layer of craftsmanship to space. Together with the architectural mouldings and contrasting mahogany doors, the home feels warm and elegant.

Located in Whitefish, Montana near one of our nation’s most beautiful national parks, Glacier National Park, Great Northern Lodge was designed and constructed with a grandeur and timelessness that is rarely found in much of today’s fast paced construction practices. Influenced by the solid stacked masonry constructed for Sperry Chalet in Glacier National Park, Great Northern Lodge uniquely exemplifies Parkitecture style masonry. The owner had made a commitment to quality at the onset of the project and was adamant about designating stone as the most dominant material. The criteria for the stone selection was to be an indigenous stone that replicated the unique, maroon colored Sperry Chalet stone accompanied by a masculine scale. Great Northern Lodge incorporates centuries of gained knowledge on masonry construction with modern design and construction capabilities and will stand as one of northern Montana’s most distinguished structures for centuries to come.

This brick and limestone, 6,000-square-foot residence exemplifies understated elegance. Located in the award-wining Blaine School District and within close proximity to the Southport Corridor, this is city living at its finest!
The foyer, with herringbone wood floors, leads to a dramatic, hand-milled oval staircase; an architectural element that allows sunlight to cascade down from skylights and to filter throughout the house. The floor plan has stately-proportioned rooms and includes formal Living and Dining Rooms; an expansive, eat-in, gourmet Kitchen/Great Room; four bedrooms on the second level with three additional bedrooms and a Family Room on the lower level; a Penthouse Playroom leading to a roof-top deck and green roof; and an attached, heated 3-car garage. Additional features include hardwood flooring throughout the main level and upper two floors; sophisticated architectural detailing throughout the house including coffered ceiling details, barrel and groin vaulted ceilings; painted, glazed and wood paneling; laundry rooms on the bedroom level and on the lower level; five fireplaces, including one outdoors; and HD Video, Audio and Surround Sound pre-wire distribution through the house and grounds. The home also features extensively landscaped exterior spaces, designed by Prassas Landscape Studio.
This home went under contract within 90 days during the Great Recession.

This guest bathroom exemplifies simple elegance with its Restoration Hardware industrial style lighting in polished nickel, Rohl plumbing fixtures, iridescent glass mosaic tiles in the shower and hexagonal porcelain floor tiles that run into a curbless shower. All of these luxurious appointments against the Shaker style cabinet -- designed to look and feel like a furniture piece -- and perfectly accented with coral-colored polka dot towels.
Notice the unique casing and jamb on the shower. These are milled from Corian to match the house details while providing a long lasting, water-resistant finish.
