Inspiration for a bathroom remodel in DC Metro

New construction and original landscaping completed in 2010. Original design had boulders between the driveway and home to minimize the stop and create curb appeal. An assortment of unusual trees (lions head maple, moon rise maple, hinokie cypress, twisted baby locus, and paper bark maple and others) were installed to compliment the home on the naturally wooded lot. Many different perennials and flowering shrubs were installed between these unique specimen trees to provide interest throughout the year. Phase 2 was initiated by the homeowner in 2016 were we landscaped the backyard, which was overgrown with wild trees. It was cleared to create a more useable space and play area for children. Our design team created a master landscape plan and was an integral part with the approval process with the municipality. We worked in tandem with an engineering firm to design and install a bio-retention pond. The pond was designed to take all of the runoff from the newly landscaped backyard. Wet loving plants were incorporated into the pond to beautify the area and absorb the water. A custom, multi-level play set was installed over artificial turf to blend with the newly expanded lawn area. An assortment of trees, shrubs and perennial were installed on the hillside separating the upper yard and newly expanded lower area. Low voltage landscape lighting was expanded to highlight the new plantings and provide light for the children to play in the evening. Our landscape design complimented he newly installed covered outdoor living space.

Formally a three-season room, the homeowners loved this area of their home -spending most of their free time enjoying the scenic beauty of the rural Chelsea, Michigan landscape. Home Gym and Utility Room: The ground floor features a state-of-the-art home gym, providing a dedicated space for fitness and well-being. Adjacent to the gym is a spacious utility room, designed for maximum efficiency and convenience. Home Office: On the upper level, we've created a serene home office. This space is thoughtfully designed to foster productivity and comfort, offering a quiet retreat for work or study. Expanded Four Seasons Room: The centerpiece of this addition is the expanded four seasons room. With French doors, a vaulted ceiling, and custom windows, this space is bathed in natural light and offers breathtaking views of the outdoors. The room opens onto a new TREX composite deck, featuring the elegant Westbury aluminum railing system. This seamless transition between indoor and outdoor living spaces creates a perfect environment for relaxation and entertaining. This two-story home addition by Homeowner Services of Michigan not only enhances the home's functionality but also significantly increases its aesthetic appeal and value. Each element of this project was executed with precision, ensuring a flawless integration with the existing structure and an exceptional living experience for our client. Now, they can enjoy the vaulted ceilings and expansive view of this beautiful room all year.

This Leawood, Kansas primary bathroom remodel was designed to support a growing family's changing needs while creating a more functional and timeless retreat. The existing layout was reimagined to improve daily routines, replacing an underutilized bathtub with a spacious walk-in shower featuring dual showerheads and a transom window that fills the space with natural light while maintaining privacy. The renovation extended beyond the bathroom to enhance the adjoining closet. By reclaiming square footage from the former shower location, the design created additional storage and incorporated a dedicated washer and dryer for greater everyday convenience. Thoughtful planning and purposeful design decisions helped maximize functionality without sacrificing style. Completed just before the homeowners welcomed their new baby, this remodel was designed to simplify daily life while providing a beautiful and enduring space that will serve the family for years to come.

This custom home build was based off of the model home that was built in the community of Prairie Pass. The owners purchased the lot almost a year in advance of the build. Once the build started they had Billy incorporate into the exterior front a similar look that he had added to the communities club house front exterior. The 360 sq. ft. family room addition—which replaced a screened porch—also features a large window to the woods, vaulted ceiling, plus sliding doors to a new patio. It’s part of an open floor plan connecting the kitchen, living, dining and family rooms; a double pocket door can isolate the living room to control sound.
