This ocean-front shingled Gambrel style house is home to a young family with little kids who lead an active, outdoor lifestyle. My goal was to create a bespoke, colorful and eclectic interior that looked sophisticated and fresh, but that was tough enough to withstand salt, sand and wet kids galore. The palette of coral and blue is an obvious choice, but we tried to translate it into a less expected, slightly updated way, hence the front door! Liberal use of indoor-outdoor fabrics created a seamless appearance while preserving the utility needed for this full time seaside residence. photo: Michael J Lee Photography

Samantha completely installed this system herself. She shares, "We have enjoyed our Pro Dunk system so much!" She and her husband have 3 children aged 7, 4, and almost 3. They have spent a lot of quality family time playing basketball on this system and look forward to much more...even with grandchildren in future years. This is a Pro Dunk Gold expecting grandchildren that was purchased in March of 2013. It was installed on a 34 ft wide by a 28 ft deep playing area in Elizabethtown, NC. Contrast is the key to this gorgeous transitional family room. Soft greige walls are in contrast with the platinum silk draperies and charcoal sofa. Custom lounge chairs in gold ikat add a touch of glamour to this formal living space. Modern art keeps it fresh and fun.
