With our design expertise and experienced project management, Lorain Design remodeled all 3 Bathrooms and the Laundry Room for these clients with large format patterned wood grain tile and light textured laminate cabinets that we fell in love with. The warm look of wood-tone tile is one of our current favorites for creating an inviting spa-like ambiance for bathrooms. The Primary Bath was made with an eye for aging in place and it's gorgeous! One sink is lower with knee space for a wheelchair if needed and the shower access has no curb or shower door to get in the way.

Lounge in luxury on the sun shelf of this infinity pool by Ryan Hughes Design Build. A 12’ x 14’ sunken fire lounge appears to rise out of the waters of the modern pool. Combinations of travertine, stucco and glass tile create a lounging area that is full of color and classic elegance when combined with cushions and accents. A 3’ x 5’ linear gas fire feature is at the center of the lounge cladded with oceanside lineage glass tile. A grand Tuuci cantilever umbrella, built to follow the sun, offers sophisticated shade perfectly engineered to accommodate the shape of the fire lounge. By taking over the former butler's pantry and relocating the rear entry, the new kitchen is a large, bright space with improved traffic flow and efficient work space.

The total renovation of this Newton property was designed and engineered to maximize the outdoor living area. The sloping grade and limited lot size available required a design that utilized a series of well-engineered stone retaining walls and sophisticated drainage. The transformation of this property resulted in an exciting, functional entertaining, and play area for an active family.

A Modern Farmhouse set in a prairie setting exudes charm and simplicity. Wrap around porches and copious windows make outdoor/indoor living seamless while the interior finishings are extremely high on detail. In floor heating under porcelain tile in the entire lower level, Fond du Lac stone mimicking an original foundation wall and rough hewn wood finishes contrast with the sleek finishes of carrera marble in the master and top of the line appliances and soapstone counters of the kitchen. This home is a study in contrasts, while still providing a completely harmonious aura.
