This spacious kitchen provides plenty of room to move around between cooking, cleaning, and entertaining. The tile backsplash draws the eyes to the walls and pair perfectly with the frameless New River cabinetry in carmel stain and cambria counter top. This space is so welcoming that you naturally want to spend all your time in the kitchen!

Kitchen had an eight foot ceiling. Removed the original house roof and ceiling above the kitchen to form a twenty five foot cathedral ceiling. Access walkway at second floor overlooking kitchen leads to external cantilevered steel balcony and family room over the garage, all flooded with natural light. Top of wall cabinets trimmed in matching cherry and used as cat walk by family pets. All new insulated doors and windows. Metal hand railing. Combination of pendant and recessed lighting.

Storing pots and pans is a typical struggle for most people. Stacking them provides the frustration of finding a place to store the lids. By adding pull-out drawers inside this 30” cabinet adjacent to the range, the Client has access to all of their cooking tools in reaching distance without having to rearrange the cabinet every time. The beautiful natural granite countertops and two tone cabinet stain/paint compliment each other. Multiple sources of artificial light from recessed, under cabinet and pendant lights illuminate the room. The white painted island soffit and crown molding add dimension to the ceiling bringing out additional character.

Although microwave hoods are not the most fashionable option, sometimes they are the best use of space. The homeowner is a serious cook and finds the externally vented micro-hood to be an effective ventilation system for the induction range.

This main floor master bathroom is divided into multiple spaces in a linear fashion with external and internal windows peppering the vertical surfaces. We took a more is more approach to decorating the available wall space to create a curated chaos of sorts. The homeowner is very happy with the composition as it allowed him to further personalize every space.

The Solstice team worked with these Crofton homeowners to achieve their vision of having a kitchen design that is the center of home life in this Chapman Farm home. The result is a kitchen located in the heart of the home, that serves as a welcome destination for family and visitors, with a highly effective layout. The addition of a peninsula adds extra seating and also separates the kitchen work zone from an external doorway and the living area. HomeCrest kitchen cabinets in willow finish Sedona maple includes customized pull out storage accessories like cooking utensil and knife storage inserts, pull out shelves, and more. The gray cabinetry is accented by an amazing Cambria "Langdon" quartz countertop and gray subway tile backsplash. An Allora USA double bowl sink with American Standard pull out sprayer faucet is situated facing the window, and includes an InSinkErator Evolution garbage disposal and InstaHot water dispenser in chrome. The design is accented by stainless appliances, a warm wood floor, and under- and over-cabinet lighting.
