This homeowner cancelled his sidelights and fiberglass door and went with a very nice craftsman and sidelights. Did you know I can get the one sidelight to open so they can have that extra 8 or 10 inches? very cool feature.

We began by digging the footings for the deck and sunroom; however, we immediately ran into a problem. The back of the lot was built on fill dirt, which meant the structure would need extra support. Fortunately for the customer, with over 20 years of experience in the industry and having dealt with this type of problem before, we were able to contact our structural engineer who devised a plan to take care of the issue. Therefore, what would have been a large problem turned into a simple time delay with some additional cost requirements.
To fix the situation, we would up having to dig 12-foot-deep footings with an excavator before adding some additional helical piers for the deck posts and sunroom foundation (FYI – typical footing depth is two feet). Since the customer understood that this was an unexpected situation, we created a change order to cover the extra cost. Still, it’s important to note that the very nature of construction means that hidden situations may occur, so it’s always wise for customers to have contingency plans in place before work on the home begins.
In the end, we finished on time and within the homeowners budget, and they were thrilled with the quality of our work.

The classic white color palate combines chrome fixtures and black iron lighting to create a traditional bath with farmhouse accents. White marble and white subway tile are both elegant and timeless. The free standing tub with iron lighting above is an inviting focal point of the room. The extra large shower also boasts a drying area and towel warmer.

Customer wanted a backyard fence for their pets and children. Four gates included. We had a little extra material so the fence ended up being large for no extra charge. Check us out on Facebook

via our website ~ This greenhouse is an original design by Jamaica Cottage Shop. The five six-light (true light) barn sash windows are hinged to open out, making this design comfortable and easy to use. An additional window in the gable end allows extra light and enhances the charm of this little cottage. The roofing material is corrugated translucent fiberglass, allowing the light to further penetrate but not to overheat the building with direct sun light. There is no floor to worry about rotting away. The cottage sits on a layer of treated lumber, and we suggest it be placed on a layer of brick or stone, gravel, or directly on the ground. A complete wrap-around shelf provides ample work and plant space. The overall height is 8’6″. The greenhouse in this picture has been customized with a salvaged front door that has been painted red and handmade wrought iron (local) scroll hinges, which we carry as an option. These shed kits take one person approximately 25 hours to assemble. Designed for the beginner carpenter, the kit pieces are color coded, part numbered and detailed in an exploded view. Hand made in Vermont from native rough sawn hemlock and pine lumber, the pre-cut lumber package includes all fastening hardware, roofing, and step-by-step plans.
Also available as diy garden shed plans or as fully assembled greenhouses.
