"This beautiful design started with a clean open slate and lots of design opportunities. The homeowner was looking for a large oversized spacious kitchen designed for easy meal prep for multiple cooks and room for entertaining a large oversized family. The architect’s plans had a single island with large windows on both main walls. The one window overlooked the unattractive side of a neighbor’s house while the other was not large enough to see the beautiful large back yard. The kitchen entry location made the mudroom extremely small and left only a few design options for the kitchen layout. The almost 14’ high ceilings also gave lots of opportunities for a unique design, but care had to be taken to still make the space feel warm and cozy. After drawing four design options, one was chosen that relocated the entry from the mudroom, making the mudroom a lot more accessible. A prep island across from the range and an entertaining island were included. The entertaining island included a beverage refrigerator for guests to congregate around and to help them stay out of the kitchen work areas. The small island appeared to be floating on legs and incorporates a sink and single dishwasher drawer for easy clean up of pots and pans. We removed an awkwardly shaped walk in pantry with 2 cabinet pantries. One is for food and the other for small appliances and larger bakeware. This storage is more accessible and creates a fluid design for the appliance wall. The large island in this kitchen serves as a gathering and dining space for family and friends. Ample storage and work surface provide the home owners a highly functioning kitchen. The tall crown molding is beautiful and functional with HVAC tucked inside and pendant lights by Visual Comfort add a touch of modern luxury to this traditionally based kitchen.

We hired the owners of My Sister's Garage of Windham, Maine to decorate the entire house with a mixture of vintage, repurposed, new, and custom design elements to achieve a classic, campy vibe with a luxury feel. The brand new Pottery Barn Maple Turner square arm sectional is perfectly complemented by this custom console table make from an old door. Curvaceous geometry shapes this super insulated modern earth-contact home-office set within the desert xeriscape landscape on the outskirts of Phoenix Arizona, USA. This detached Desert Office or Guest House is actually set below the xeriscape desert garden by 30", creating eye level garden views when seated at your desk. Hidden below, completely underground and naturally cooled by the masonry walls in full earth contact, sits a six car garage and storage space. There is a spiral stair connecting the two levels creating the sensation of climbing up and out through the landscaping as you rise up the spiral, passing by the curved glass windows set right at ground level. This property falls withing the City Of Scottsdale Natural Area Open Space (NAOS) area so special attention was required for this sensitive desert land project.

Re-defining waterfront living with this complete custom build on Kahshe Lake. A combination of classic Muskoka style and modern interior features work well to create timeless elegance and a breathtaking result. Spatial flow of this gorgeous 1 1/2 story home was expanded vertically with the addition of loft space, highlighting the view from above. Below, in the main living area, a grand stone fireplace leads the eye upward, and is an inviting and majestic centrepiece. The open-concept kitchen boasts sleek maple cabinetry detailed with ‘twig’ hardware and thick slab white granite providing textural interest that balances the lake and forest elements. A fresh neutral palette was chosen for the bedrooms to echo the serene nature of the lake, providing a setting for relaxation and calm. We added functional and recreational space with the construction of two outbuildings – a bunkie/sleeping cabin and a land boathouse, as well as a custom, wrap around screened porch and Muskoka Room.
