MacArthur Towers Senior Housing in Los Angeles, designed by Courtland Studio LLC Team in collaboration with the project developer, features a contemporary wellness garden for accessible, active senior living. The landscape includes ADA-compliant pathways, a serpentine ramp, a shaded pergola with a putting green, and social plazas, enhanced by drought-tolerant Mediterranean planting. This project showcases a cutting-edge landscape architecture and design concept located in the vibrant Dallas–Plano metropolitan area, merging modern aesthetics with sustainable outdoor living. The design emphasizes clean lines, geometric forms, and a seamless indoor-outdoor connection, reflecting the essence of modern Texas living. The landscape integrates low-maintenance native plantings, drought-tolerant species, and smart irrigation systems suited for the North Texas climate, promoting both ecological balance and water efficiency. Hardscape elements include architectural concrete, porcelain pavers, and steel planters, offering a minimalist yet warm material palette that complements contemporary residential and commercial architecture.

Cummings Architects transformed this beautiful oceanfront property on Eastern Point. A bland home with flat facade from the eighties was torn down to the studs to build this elegant shingle-style home with swooping gables and intricate window details. The main living spaces and bedrooms all have sprawling ocean views. Custom trim work and paneling adorns every room of the house, so that every little detail adds up to to create a timeless and elegant home. Walls were taken down to reposition the space, creating an open and more interconnected layout. This redesign enhances the flow of natural light, promotes a more spacious atmosphere, and fosters a cohesive and modern living experience.

Sprawling and luxurious are only a few of the words that come to mind when describing The San Martino. This rambling hillside-walkout estate is bursting with spacious common rooms and thoughtful private spaces. European elements adorn the exterior, while a three-car garage promotes convenience. Ample LED Lighting was designed to create a very efficient and comfortable cooking and gathering areas that not only is very functional but also designed to promote family gathering. Recessed ceiling lights provide ample illumination, while a stylish pendant lights over the island add a touch of glamour. Under-cabinet lighting was installed to highlight the countertops and backsplash in several areas of the kitchen enhancing the kitchen’s elegance. The special herringbone designed porcelain tile is a timeless material that resembles French high quality hardwood that was sourced from GENROSE Tile & Stone chosen for both its durability and aesthetic appeal. Warm tones and a classic herringbone pattern complement the kitchen’s overall design. To adhere to kosher practices, the kitchen includes separate sinks for meat and dairy, and there is careful attention to ensuring that all surfaces and appliances can be easily cleaned and maintained. A designated area for meat and dairy preparation, along with ample storage solutions was our primary goal to ensure that the kitchen was both functional and respectful of kosher laws. For finishing touches, the very talented Home Owner, chose Elegant hardware as seen in this images, such as brushed gold handles and knobs which add a great deal of sophisticated finish. Overall, this contemporary yet classical kosher kitchen in Great Neck represents a perfect blend of modern functionality and timeless elegance, designed to be both beautiful and practical.

A gorgeous master bedroom with plenty of unique features that we wanted to stay true to. The wood paneled ceilings give a beachy feel, which we wanted to accentuate through the color scheme, furniture, and lighting. Soft beiges, off-whites, pale yellows, and blue-grays created the ultimate coastal color palette, promoting a relaxing and tranquil sanctuary. Large built-in cabinets keep the space clean and uncluttered and offer a savvy bit of space for a cozy sitting area, complete with a loveseat and an antique wooden coffee table. Built-in storage continues throughout the room - above and around the bed as well as on the adjacent wall. We were also able to sneak in a built-in desk and slim, seamless bookshelves. This toddler was being promoted to big sister, so the guest bedroom was converted to fit her new role. This upholstered daybed from Restoration hardware was paired with the matching armoire. An ivory and pink rug on the dark hardwood was perfect for balancing the light colored walls. The ceiling was painted a pink hue and the damask wallpaper created the perfect backdrop for the bed. This washable coverlet is practical for children's rooms, while the custom pillows and neckrolls give an elegant and sophisticated look for the growing girl. Custom table skirts were made for the round side tables to keep a soft look in the room. Stationary drapery panels add a dramatic, yet soft effect on either side of the operable exterior doors to the patio. The attached bathroom features soft pink walls with a custom shower curtain to accommodate extra length and personalized with a monogram and ruffles for this little lady.
