This master walk-in closet was completed in antique white with lots shelving, hanging space and pullout laundry hampers to accompany the washer and dryer incorporated into the space for this busy mom. A large island with raised panel drawer fronts and oil rubbed bronze hardware was designed for laundry time in mind. This picture was taken before the island counter top was installed.

We wanted this office to feel contemporary with a contrast from the natural wood tones in the millwork and doors in the house. I decided to introduce rich espresso stained cabinetry and the crown molding detail brought it together. The cabinetry doors have a leather front inlay. The cabinetry is packed with function. We added file cabinets under the bench seat, an awning appliance garage for electronics, and we doubled his storage from his previous furniture. I chose Acacia Walnut Floors to complement the wood style and meet up with the maple hardwood floors just outside the door. The ocean view from this lovely condo was the inspiration for the colors and textures chosen in this project. Beachy blues, sandy tones, beach glass, and driftwood make up the materials. The glass wave backsplash with live edge in the kitchen is a favorite feature. Wood plank style tile on the fireplace keeps the space clean and light. We kept this small space open and airy allowing the finishes and materials to compliment the ocean view rather than compete. This beach retreat was transformed into a cozy, stylish, and inviting space to relax and enjoy the beauty of Pajaro Dunes, California. All my projects start with a palette of lovely finishes. These selections for the kitchen were the perfect beachy combo.
