Looking for a nice clean crown molding, but what something different? These homeowners did just that with a simple clean flat molding applied to the wall and ceiling to create this look.

This fun classic kitchen in Gold River features Columbia frameless cabinets in Sandy Hook grey. A green glass backsplash in a random matte and polished pattern complements the cabinets which are faced with both painted wood and frosted glass. The Silestone countertops in the Lyra finish have an ogee bullnose edge. The floors are finished in a rich brown porcelain tile of varying sizes that are made to resemble distressed wood. All of the drapery panels throughout the main level of the house were hand embroidered down the leading of edge of the ivory linen face panels with this moorish inspired pattern. A natural, open weave, sheer fabric is attached to the backs of the panels, exposed at the leading edges. This application adds lovely texture from the outside of the home, softening the ivory and blending with the stone and stucco exterior.

We designed the driveway to have precast concrete pavers with a wet cast paver edging. A granite curb laid level with pavers for additional strength. The entire driveway is not heated for winter. New bluestone step treads are added and narrow grooves are cut underneath so we could also heat the steps and landings. New bluestone wall caps are added as well as LED wall lights, steps lights and under the wall caps. A new handrail was also added for safety and ease. We added a steel decorative trench drain to collect the snow run-off as it melts.
