A modern black sectional creates the perfect place to lounge after a long day at work in this modern living room. The straight lined, heavy cocktail table can be used to kick your feet up and relax. A backdrop of an organic floral graces the previously empty corner and draws the eye to design of the space. The carved wood fireplace follows the lines of the inset tile around the firebox to create a simple, yet stunning modern design.

The toilet was chosen for it's clean, sleek lines, and the fact it is a one piece unit (easier cleaning!) A cabinet over the toilet was custom built to house the toilet paper, and angled to follow the slope of the ceiling. Custom magazine rack was added beside the toilet and painted out to match the walls.

The Oregon Dream 2017 built by Stone Bridge Homes NW has a traditional attached garage for cars and a secondary detached recreation garage with an indoor basketball court and a fully equipped bar, along with a full bath and a separate space for pool equipment. A modified Clopay Avante Collection glass garage door opens, resort-like, to a counter fronted by bar stools. On the other side of the bar is a complete beverage center with a refrigerator, ice maker and sink. The high lift vertical track follows the pitch of the vaulted roof giving ample clearance for work and play. Frosted glass panels let in natural light without compromising privacy.

Out of seven children, twin daughters Bellamy and Tallulah hold their own as the only girls in the bunch. When recent renovations included installing the elevator, all rooms needed to be slightly reconfigured. "Our girls are getting older so we were happy to bring in something new and redecorate", says Cortney. Now into their teens, the girls have redone their bedroom to reflect their growing sense of style and independence. Above Tallulah's bed hangs a childhood portrait of her by Linda Mason. The upholstered bed frames are a recent purchase that add a decidedly feminine air to the space, while a brightly painted chair and striped draperies maintain a youthful punch. Even with two designer parents, the girls are free to weigh in on what goes into their room. "It is definitely a collaboration", Cortney explains. "[Our daughter] Bellamy really enjoys designing and has a natural talent for it. All of our kids bring their own artistic sense into their spaces, after all, we want their spaces to reflect them, too." Modern exterior home idea in Atlanta

This master bath was dark and dated. Although a large space, the area felt small and obtrusive. By removing the columns and step up, widening the shower and creating a true toilet room I was able to give the homeowner a truly luxurious master retreat. (check out the before pictures at the end) The ceiling detail was the icing on the cake! It follows the angled wall of the shower and dressing table and makes the space seem so much larger than it is. The homeowners love their Nantucket roots and wanted this space to reflect that.
