Living room - mid-sized transitional formal light wood floor living room idea in Bridgeport with gray walls, a standard fireplace, a brick fireplace and a wall-mounted tv

This sunken living room had all the elements we needed to create a Southern Belle interior: Detailed millwork, hardwood floors, and a gracious bay window. We added new wall moldings and painted the ceiling a soft blue. To capture the Charleston aesthetic, we played up the architectural “bones” and layered in beautiful fabrics, texture, wood, and acrylic. We collaborated with Club Fenders, LLC in New Canaan, CT to customize the fireplace bench, which enhances the pre-existing wall of built-ins with window seats. The room features furnishings in a combination of white and blue in different patterns. Two skirted ottomans under the 1920’s Antique English oak gateleg table in the front bay window serve as additional seating when required. The acrylic coffee tables house four small ottomans in printed fabrics on castors for the homeowner’s four children and are complemented by the acrylic cabinet and drapery hardware. The gold accents throughout the room play warmly to the blue and beige palette and the chinoiserie toile of the drapes...well, bless their perfect hearts, they steal the show. After searching for years for the perfect home in Nantucket, they feel in love with the large garden, rare within the town limits, of this traditional Nantucket bungalow. Modern Citi Group recently completed this remarkable condo renovation project in Jersey City, tailored to meet the distinct tastes of a homeowner seeking a space that exudes feminine charm and personalized elegance. This full renovation included a complete overhaul of the look of this home, incorporating the client's very specific desires. Our design team worked closely with the client to ensure the alignment of vision and brought to life the dreams of the client. Every renovation project starts with the planning phase led by the project planners. At the at-home visit, Anna captured a 360 tour of the apartment to get accurate measurements and fast-track the project. As the project progressed, the client was able to keep track of costs and enjoy simulations on her client dashboard. The planning process went smoothly, and the client was very happy with the results. To achieve this feminine look, bespoke light fixtures and carefully selected wallpaper were installed to create a refined ambiance. Going above and beyond, the project also incorporated cutting-edge technology, including a smart toilet and bidet. Every inch of space in the home reflects the client's exact desires and taste. This comprehensive endeavor focused on transforming the residence, encompassing a full-scale renovation of the kitchen, living room, bedrooms, and two bathrooms. The team refinished the floors, ceilings and walls - integrating elements that resonated with the homeowner's vision for a space that harmoniously blends femininity, class, and timeless elegance. Gulf Building recently completed the “ New Orleans Chic” custom Estate in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The aptly named estate stays true to inspiration rooted from New Orleans, Louisiana. The stately entrance is fueled by the column’s, welcoming any guest to the future of custom estates that integrate modern features while keeping one foot in the past. The lamps hanging from the ceiling along the kitchen of the interior is a chic twist of the antique, tying in with the exposed brick overlaying the exterior. These staple fixtures of New Orleans style, transport you to an era bursting with life along the French founded streets. This two-story single-family residence includes five bedrooms, six and a half baths, and is approximately 8,210 square feet in size. The one of a kind three car garage fits his and her vehicles with ample room for a collector car as well. The kitchen is beautifully appointed with white and grey cabinets that are overlaid with white marble countertops which in turn are contrasted by the cool earth tones of the wood floors. The coffered ceilings, Armoire style refrigerator and a custom gunmetal hood lend sophistication to the kitchen. The high ceilings in the living room are accentuated by deep brown high beams that complement the cool tones of the living area. An antique wooden barn door tucked in the corner of the living room leads to a mancave with a bespoke bar and a lounge area, reminiscent of a speakeasy from another era. In a nod to the modern practicality that is desired by families with young kids, a massive laundry room also functions as a mudroom with locker style cubbies and a homework and crafts area for kids. The custom staircase leads to another vintage barn door on the 2nd floor that opens to reveal provides a wonderful family loft with another hidden gem: a secret attic playroom for kids! Rounding out the exterior, massive balconies with French patterned railing overlook a huge backyard with a custom pool and spa that is secluded from the hustle and bustle of the city. This open contemporary living and dining area at Sansara in downtown Sarasota was staged by iStage Homes to showcase the residence’s expansive layout and modern architectural design. A sculptural leather sectional anchors the living space while soft neutral furnishings and layered textures create a balanced, inviting atmosphere. The staging highlights the seamless connection between the living area, dining space, and kitchen—capturing the refined lifestyle of luxury condo living in Sarasota’s Burns Court district.

Our focus on this project in Black Mountain North Carolina was to create a warm, comfortable mountain retreat that had ample room for our clients and their guests. 4 Large decks off all the bedroom suites were essential to capture the spectacular views in this private mountain setting. Elevator, Golf Room and an Outdoor Kitchen are only a few of the special amenities that were incorporated in this custom craftsman home.

The original landscaping on this house failed to capture the impressive architecture and scenic setting. Finding "Tuscan" themed plantings in Colorado can be a challenge - we used upright junipers in place of the common cypress that are often seen with Tuscan style homes.
