Look how clean and visually quiet this kitchen can be. There was so little exposed wall left after the cabinetry went in that we didn't overthink using black on the walls. Of course it doesn't "make the room dark". This room has ample light to begin with and at night, a fantastic city lights view is out those doors, so it's as if the walls recede.

This white freestanding bathtub is accompanied by colorful patterned draperies and a wooden side table. Gold accents are present throughout, and a gold pendant light fixture hangs overhead.

Our client was inspired by old English kitchens and we worked to make that distinctive traditional style feel right at home in the context of a Spanish bungalow. The unfussiness of the oak cabinetry and unlacquered brass finishes blends with a boldly eclectic mix (in scale, pattern, and hue) of stone for a fresh, modern take on traditional English design. Right off the kitchen and separated only by a tiled archway, the laundry room wears this blend a bit more dramatically with pale lilac cabinetry, vibrant wallcoverings, and intricate woodwork. The end result is a highly layered, subtly theatrical scheme where the line between casual and elegant is softly blurred. It's our ode to how gorgeous even the most utilitarian elements can be.

A 1960's home is given an open plan kitchen with modern features. A large waterfall kitchen island was installed, providing additional storage space and seating arrangements. Sleek white cabinets coordinate with the white ceiling accent that hosts a series of recessed lights while also contrasting with the beautiful, dark wood ceiling beams. Light wooden cabinets were used to keep the space feeling fresh and clean, while a gray subway tile backsplash adds a chic shine, complementing the modern design. Bathroom remodel was a complete redesign to bring the original 90-year old San Francisco bathroom into modern day. Reimagining the space involved knocking down walls and employing artisans for handmade shower tiles and locally custom-made cabinetry to perfectly fit tight spaces. Creamy tones, Mahogany wood, and ceramic crackle and subway tiles strike a balance between traditional and contemporary. This mid-century modern was a full restoration back to this home's former glory. The vertical grain fir ceilings were reclaimed, refinished, and reinstalled. The floors were a special epoxy blend to imitate terrazzo floors that were so popular during this period. The quartz countertops waterfall on both ends and the handmade tile accents the backsplash.
