Welcome home. First look into the home shows you most of the studio. I kept the walls neutral and used black as my grounding color and added many a pops of green, fuchsia and orange. The colors maintain a spring like vibe in the apartment all year long.

As any parent knows, teenage girls like to spend hours and hours in their rooms. So, why not make it as cheerful a place as possible? This teen's favourite colours are fuchsia & periwinkle, so we created a bright and happy space with little touches of these colours, without overdoing it. Finally I found the perfect fit for the Tricia Guild Peony bedding that I've been coveting. She loves it.

This centrally located intersection to a main thoroughfare a block away was a concern because of the corner lot visibility issue for cars making a turn driving in either direction. The Quince tree bloomed annually for just a short time and was originally planted by the prior home owners decades ago. Keeping it maintained to a height of 4’ maximum, dictated for safety reasons, was still obstructing and limiting the visibility of oncoming traffic at this busy intersection.
The existing roses planted in the same space as the Quince were a perfect backdrop to the new perennials and annuals planted to paint this corner with flowers. The project also included expanding the beautification to both corner areas in coordination with several other planting areas already seasonally updated on the property. With the Redwood Tree as a focal point and Roses, Daphnes, Iris, Azaleas, Fuchsias, Hydrangeas and Camilias highlighting the planting beds the addition of color, including around the driveway and side entrance, transformed the entire space.

The entrance to the primary suite features a dedicated wet bar that creates a welcoming transition into the spa-inspired bathroom beyond. Existing cabinetry was refinished in soft blue, quartz countertops were added, and a bold fuchsia mirror provides a vibrant focal point while introducing the home's blue-and-white palette.

For this client's move to a fabulous 2-storey mid-town apartment, we chose to work mainly with the client's own furnishings. In this combined living/dining area, we added several new pieces to complement the old. A fuchsia and black rug repeats the colours of the kitchen, as does a pair of new swivel chairs by the window.
