Barbara did a fantastic job for us, under very difficult conditions. Her design concepts were exactly what we were looking for. Her attention to detail over a fairly long time span (fourteen months) was much appreciated. Despite significant delays in deliveries, products that were promised and then unavailable, a horrific misstep by one of our subs that resulted in sizable damages to our condominium building, and a skeptical building and board oversight, the final product exceeded our expectations. If you are looking for a great designer and collaborative partner on your project, Barbara is a real pro. This project included new flooring, paint, lighting throughout, wallpaper, complete kitchen overhaul, new furnishings in every room and accent pieces.

Barbara Brickell Designs is an absolutely wonderful interior decorator. It took me several months of searching for an interior decorator before I found Barbara. Most interior decorators only design for high end properties but Barbara designs for both high end properties and yachts while also amenable to small projects. Thank goodness! Barbara has a depth of experience and knows how to listen to the client. She took all of my comments and added her knowledge to come up with a design, furniture and accessories that were within my budget of $10,000. Barbara gives you choices so if you want to spend a little more or a little less in one area you have options. My explicit desire was to have a blue accent wall downstairs. I LOVE my blue accent walls. Barbara chose a blue color that added a WOW factor when you walked into the home. Barbara managed the whole project, coordinated the furniture delivery, painters and electricians. She even made trips to several stores to pick up items. She incorporated almost all of my accessories and paintings in the final design. She is a perfectionist and goes more than the extra mile to make sure everything is perfect. She decorated and accessorized the living room, dining room, power room completely while selecting paint colors for all rooms and hanging paintings in every room of the house (3 bedrooms 2 1/2 baths). While the final cost was slightly less than $10,000 I feel the value of the home increased by more than $10,000. I am absolutely thrilled with all of Barbara's work which only took 4 days of actually working in my home. Barbara is quick and efficient and, above all, you can completely trust her judgment. If you are looking for an interior designer you will be very pleased with Barbara Brickell Designs.

Draperies insatlled, both shears and blackout, as well as cornice in same fabric as couch with panel of fabric from love seat which made for a well unified appearance. Also, made a follow-up visit a month later to amke any adjustments and to make sure all was as expected. Highly satisfied with work and decorating service.
