Built in 1896, the original site of the Baldwin Piano warehouse was transformed into several turn-of-the-century residential spaces in the heart of Downtown Denver. The building is the last remaining structure in Downtown Denver with a cast-iron facade. HouseHome was invited to take on a poorly designed loft and transform it into a luxury Airbnb rental. Since this building has such a dense history, it was our mission to bring the focus back onto the unique features, such as the original brick, large windows, and unique architecture.
Our client wanted the space to be transformed into a luxury, unique Airbnb for world travelers and tourists hoping to experience the history and art of the Denver scene. We went with a modern, clean-lined design with warm brick, moody black tones, and pops of green and white, all tied together with metal accents. The high-contrast black ceiling is the wow factor in this design, pushing the envelope to create a completely unique space. Other added elements in this loft are the modern, high-gloss kitchen cabinetry, the concrete tile backsplash, and the unique multi-use space in the Living Room. Truly a dream rental that perfectly encapsulates the trendy, historical personality of the Denver area.

You enter a spacious, bright room, the center of which is divided by a byobu, a light Japanese screen. The owner explains that the hall is multifunctional: on one side is his office with artwork and a niche for calligraphy tools; on the other is the living room where guests are received. And if they stay overnight, a couple of comfortable futons, traditional Japanese mattresses, are laid out here.

Envision a tiny home that packs adventure into every inch, inspired by rainy park days and built for nature lovers. Atlas Tiny House by F9 blends old-school straw ideas with modern mobility, creating a sustainable escape that's compact yet feels wide open to the world.
Client and Brief
Born from RV frustrations, the vision was a movable home with real craftsmanship – solar for power, rain collection for water, and a glass wall for endless views. It's designed for simple, off-grid living that connects you to the outdoors.
Problems Solved
Traditional RVs lack charm and eco-friendliness; Atlas fixes that with strong materials and green systems, making it durable, fire-safe, and self-reliant for worry-free travels.
Design Concept and Form
The core draws from nature – steel for a tough frame, wood for warmth, glass for immersion. Fold-out deck and awning turn it into an outdoor room, maximizing space and connection.
Construction and Materials
Tube steel keeps it light yet sturdy, with wood accents and sustainable features like filtered rainwater storage for practical, planet-friendly living.
Interior Design
Main level flows with futon, kitchen, bath, and clever storage including batteries. Loft upstairs holds a queen bed with extra room, all efficient and inviting.
Outcome
Showcased on HGTV, Atlas redefines tiny homes with sustainability and style. It's a mobile haven that brings freedom, nature, and comfort together for inspired, eco-conscious adventures.

The Van Gogh sofa is an elegant statement-making piece with clean lines softened by subtle curves. Sits perfectly on its own and as the complement to the Van Gogh sofa club chair. Lends itself to living room, lounge, den and office spaces with modern and contemporary design styles.

This 10 x 10 room off the main living area closes off with double doors when used as a guest room, but is open most of the time. The decor here therefore must work with that of the living area. We kept it simple and minimal: a chunky sleep sofa , with a side table that is a perfect surface for tablet or laptop, and works as a night table when needed; a good task light; and a gorgeous Italian lacquered chest for clothes. The blue and pink accents continue the colour scheme of the living room.
