This fun kitchen is a perfect fit for its’ owners! As a returning client we knew this space would be a pleasure to complete, having previously updated their main bath. The variegated blue picket tiles add bold colour the homeowners craved, while the slab doors in a natural maple with matte black finishes and soft white quartz countertops offer a warm modern backdrop.
Filled with personality, this vibrant new kitchen inspires their love of cooking. The small footprint required creative planning to make the most efficient use of space while still including an open shelf section to allow for display and an open feel. The addition of a second sink was a game changer, allowing both sides of the room to function optimally. This kitchen was the perfect finishing touch for their home!

There were to many disjointed spaces in the existing Eichler home, and the owners didn’t like entering right into the kitchen wall. There were not enough functional spaces in the house but it was tricky to see how or where to add to the home without losing the atrium. The Klopf team re-arranged the spaces in the house to put the bedroom functions under the flat, 8-foot ceiling and the whole great room under the higher gable roof, moving the kitchen to the corner and creating a symmetrical and regular-shaped great room. A narrow band of skylights and a reduced, but still open, atrium brighten the family’s days and bring more greenery into their lives. The Klopf team turned the small front bedroom into a laundry room, powder room, and hallway to a large, added work-from-home office/family room that can double as a guest room. From the street the addition looks like it might have been there all along, but for the family members it’s a game-changer.

The updated mudroom created a space that seamlessly connects to the kitchen, laundry room, walk-in closet, and powder bath while also serving as a comfortable haven for the family’s furry friends when they are away.
To maximize functionality, we included open spaces under the bench for dog bowls and storage baskets for shoes, hats, and mittens. A myriad of hooks lines the walls, ensuring that there is a dedicated place for every coat and school bag.
One of the most heartwarming features of this project is the wood bench top, lovingly handcrafted by the homeowner’s dad. It adds a personal and rustic touch to the space, making it truly unique.
For added durability, we incorporated shiplap on the walls. Not only does it add a chic and contemporary aesthetic, but it’s also designed to withstand the wear and tear of a high-traffic area.
Tying the mudroom and connected laundry room together is a beautiful wood-look tile floor, combining the timeless appeal of wood with the durability of tile. The vertical grain laminate textured melamine cabinets also tie the spaces together which were designed to withstand the rigors of everyday use.
The laundry room quadrupled in size, and this expansion allowed us to introduce a range of practical and stylish features, perfect for this large family. Stacking the full-size washer and dryer was a game-changer, as it opened up valuable space for additional counter space, a sink, and ample storage.
The project didn’t stop at the laundry room. A wall of 15″ deep pantries was added, along with an extra refrigerator. This provides ample storage space for small appliances and extra food, which is especially useful for a family with growing boys.
A frosted glass door connects the laundry room to the wet bar area of the kitchen/dining room, facilitating easy access when entertaining. Furthermore, there is an exterior door leading to the backyard, ensuring that the space is not only practical but also connected to the outdoor living area.

You would hardly guess that this bungalow was all sorts of boring brown before we got our hands on it! With a classic blend of blue and white cabinetry in the kitchen and gorgeous warm handmade tile accents, the interior view of this home is now just as beautiful as it’s stunning views of the Rocky Mountains. Changing the corner door to the pantry was a game changer in bringing this kitchen back up to date - be sure to see the before photos on Instagram!

We started with a really tiny kitchen where the hutch is now located and proposed removing the bearing wall separating the old dining room from the old kitchen space and then moving the kitchen into the dining room. This vastly improved the layout and was more logical as a great sized kitchen was now situated right beside the sunken kitchen table area. Seating was also added onto the peninsula to bring guests closer to the action. This kitchen renovation was definitely a game changer for their home!

A new design brings opportunities for greatness. The spacious room with beautiful views was a good start. www.genevacabinet.com
Geneva Cabinet Company, Lake Geneva WI However a central fireplace limited the natural flow of activity. Removing the fireplace and borrowing space from the mudroom was a game changer. Essential to the new plan is an inviting island with generous space for storage, meal prep, gatherings and dining.

This charming 1950s Ranch-style home was ready for a fresh update, and we delivered a transformation that blends durability with style.
We replaced the aging vinyl siding with high-quality James Hardie siding, instantly revitalizing the exterior. To enhance functionality and ambiance, we installed soffit lighting, bringing a warm and welcoming glow to the home. Finally, we sealed the entire house and garage with two coats of Sherwin Williams Resilience Paint, ensuring long-lasting protection and a flawless finish.
The patio redesign was a game-changer! The primary L-shaped cover now features a high-pitched ceiling, bridging the space between the house and garage with elegance. To complement this, a smaller secondary cover was designed to house a vintage Bronco in style.
Both covers received matching stained pine beadboard ceilings and rich two-tone stained cedar trim, adding warmth and character. Plus, we installed two ceiling fans on the main cover and can lights on both, creating the perfect blend of comfort and sophistication.

This remodel embodies the goals of practical function and timeless elegance, both important for this family of four. Despite the large size of the home, the kitchen & laundry seemed forgotten and disjointed from the living space. By reclaiming space in the under-utilized breakfast room, we doubled the size of the kitchen and relocated the laundry room from the garage to the old breakfast room. Expanding the opening from living room to kitchen was a game changer, integrating both high traffic spaces and providing ample space for activity.

The transformation of this outdated kitchen was nothing short of remarkable, as it evolved into a tranquil and inviting space infused with subtle hues of peaceful blue. A dramatic shift was initiated by removing the outdated, yellow-toned wood cabinets, which instantly brightened and modernized the room. By strategically removing select cabinets and replacing them with floating shelves, the space gained an airy and open feel, allowing for both practical storage and stylish display. The decision to square off the layout by eliminating an awkward landing/island and introducing a spacious, 11-foot island with barstool counter space proved to be a game-changer, enhancing flow and functionality while maximizing the room's potential. To further enhance the serene ambiance, subtle shades of peaceful blues and greens were introduced between the backsplash and lower cabinets, creating a soothing backdrop for culinary endeavors. The cool blue tones were elegantly complemented by the addition of gold hardware, adding a touch of sophistication and warmth to the space. The result? A peaceful and bright kitchen that seamlessly blends style with functionality, providing the perfect setting for both cooking and entertaining alike.

Step into this Elegant Torrance Kitchen Remodel, where timeless design meets modern functionality. The centerpiece of this kitchen is a stunning dual-tone island, featuring rich wood contrasted against the sleek white cabinetry. It's not just for show; the expansive countertop space makes it perfect for meal prep and casual dining. We went with a classic subway tile backsplash in a herringbone pattern, adding just the right amount of texture to the clean, neutral palette. Stainless steel appliances and a custom range hood bring a professional-grade touch, while glass-front upper cabinets provide a stylish display for glassware and dishware.
Lighting was a game-changer here. We installed a trio of pendant lights over the island, casting beautiful patterns that enhance the overall ambiance. The open layout ensures an easy flow between cooking, dining, and entertaining. For this Torrance home, the goal was simple: combine elegance with everyday practicality, and we think it hit the mark beautifully.
