Sometimes you seek a beautiful space where you can commune with the outdoors but still feel at home. This Sammamish client has a gorgeous backyard that needed a new deck in order to take full advantage of summer. The space, while beautiful, also required a design that would maintain privacy from nearby neighbors. This deck, complete with a privacy screen was the perfect solution for their family. We love the look that the ipe wood provided!

The Oribu basalt fountain offers a polished rock formation with a bubbling fountain on top, pooling water across its surface and flowing naturally over, and down, its refined sides. Unique, fan-shaped leaves turn a stunning yellow color in the fall. It can tolerate many urban conditions including heat, air pollution, salt and confined spaces. And it establishes easily. This tree also comes with a bit of history. It is a living fossil, with the earliest leaf fossils date from 270 million years ago.

Minimal grout lines at well-aligned fixtures create a sense of continuity at 24x24 rectified wall tiles. The dimensional tiles add a playful design element to the modern geometry of the mid century home.
