Large transitional l-shaped medium tone wood floor and brown floor eat-in kitchen photo in Detroit with an undermount sink, shaker cabinets, white cabinets, quartz countertops, white backsplash, travertine backsplash, stainless steel appliances, an island and white countertops

When we originally completed this kitchen redooring, our homeowner loved the transformation so much… she called us back for more! This time, we replaced her existing countertops and backsplash with stunning Royale Blanc quartz and Catch Glossy White subway tile. Wow, what a difference. The bright, clean surfaces paired perfectly with her refreshed cabinetry, taking this kitchen from “updated” to fully elevated. Seeing a client return to continue their transformation is the best compliment we could receive and she’s absolutely loving the glow-up! Thinking about updating your kitchen in stages? We’ve got you covered.

Ample window areas allow for daylighting controls to conserve energy. Frosted glass pendants dress-up lobby and downlights in canopy provide safety, security, and visual comfort for entering and exiting the building.

A bedroom appropriate to the 1790 house that it is in -- candlewick bedspread, vintage Oriental, cherry four-poster -- but updated with an ikat covered chair, custom Indian block print lampshades, crystal lamps, and Cole & Sons' Woods wallpaper for a modern toile effect. Photography by Eric Roth.

Our clients, a young professional couple in their 30s, sent us inspiration images of very traditional living rooms chock full of blues & whites, golds and merlots, brown furniture, formal window treatments, and Oriental rugs. They wanted a RETREAT and entertaining space for grown-ups, but durable enough a room for kids learning how to behave in a civilized manner.
Our aim was “youthfulize” their ideas into something fresh-but-timeless for a young and growing family by employing luminous colors, abstract art, and transitional decor.

This image showcases the gravel path and patio of the project, along with a raised patio area. A flagstone walkway winds through a blooming meadow toward a cozy spot for two chairs—perfect for quiet moments. The setting sun casts a warm glow over the scene. Meadow plants are beginning to flower and will soon fill in, adding color and texture to this inviting outdoor space.

This home office was created from an outbuilding on the property. Seagrass wall-to-wall carpet was installed for ultimate durability and a relaxed vibe. We employed a high-low aesthetic to create a space that was unique but still within budget, utilizing the owner's Stickley desk, a custom desk chair, custom blush Roman shades, a Hudson Valley Fenwater chandelier and sconces, and multiple office items from budget sources like IKEA and The Container Store. The ceiling is painted Quicksand and walls and trim in White Dove by Benjamin Moore. Photo by Sabrina Cole Quinn Photography.
