This contemporary office space was designed to be fun, fresh, and feminine. Our client wanted a place she could work, think, chat, and enjoy herself. The neutral colored walls, sofa, and chairs allowed for us to dream big and add tons of fun pops of color! Our jumping off point was the hand-stiched rug is made from reclaimed oriental rugs that have been stripped, dyed, and cut and sewn into a new creation!

Addition and whole house renovation to 1940's Arlington colonial home; doubling the square-footage. Includes new Kraftmaid Cabinets, new appliances, new dining area, new living room area, full basement playroom, new master, and new guest room.

This was a renovation project that expanded the kitchen by using the space that was an adjacent laundry room. Contemporary kitchen with large 'waterfall island' as the centerpiece to dine, storage beneath and refrigerator/freezer drawers along with microwave drawer. Quartz was used for the island,counter and stove backsplash as a slab.in calacutta pattern, perimeter is also a quartz in a coordinated darker color. stainless steel hood with textured grayish white cabinetry. breakfast area is used mostly as a sitting area to watch TV and be a part of the kitchen but the cocktail table converts to dining height as well as expands for additional dining table space and seating is then becomes a dining banquette.area. Inspiration for an eclectic living room remodel in New York

Like most homes that were built as part of a development project in Thousand oaks the kitchen in this home was extremely small and enclosed from all sides with only 2 small pathways leading to it. The first think on the list was to remove the largest wall and opening the space to the living area. The kitchen is comprised from an L-shape gray cabinets and a 11' long peninsula from pewter colored cabinet and a fantastic black noir countertop. The peninsula acts as a division between the living area and the kitchen. a large window brings a lot of natural light into the space and the light pastel almost colored backsplash adds a light and bright contrast to the grays and black colors of the kitchen. The large dark cabinet pulls tie together the two portions of the kitchen.

Our goal for this project was to transform this home from family-friendly to an empty nesters sanctuary. We opted for a sophisticated palette throughout the house, featuring blues, greys, taupes, and creams. The punches of colour and classic patterns created a warm environment without sacrificing sophistication. Home located in Thornhill, Vaughan.
