We opened up the view for this project with a cool, LED-lit glass railing and transitioned it elegantly down to ground level. The lower level of this deck includes a sheltered lounge and a cozy little private hot tub! Deisgned and Built by Paul Lafrance Design.

This deck was constructed with premium TimberTech AZEK® Vintage Collection decking. The fascia, stair risers, bench face, and picture framing were created with Dark Hickory decking, while the deck infill, stair treads, and benchtop were created using English Walnut. AZEK Vintage Collection is a capped polymer decking, which comes with a standard 50-year limited fade and stain warranty.

This multi level deck was originally all wood and failing. We kept the foot print and upgraded materials for longevity and low maintenance.
Inspiration for a transitional deck remodel in Baltimore

This gorgeous deck is built from pressure-treated pine that has been stained. The flowing multi-level design features a centerpiece of twin staircases leading from the landing to the upper-level deck. The deck encompasses the entire back of the home with ample area for rocking chair relaxation, outdoor dining and entertaining and 360-degree views of tranquil Lake Murray from every angle.
