This kitchen addition project is an expansion of an old story and a half South Bozeman home. A complete demolition and rebuild of this structure would be the best course of action, but we are in a historic neighborhood and we will be working with it as is. Budget is an issue as well, so in addition to the second story addition, we are limiting our renovation efforts to the kitchen and bathroom areas at the back the house. We are making a concerted effort to not get into too much of the existing front half of this house. This is precisely the type of remodeling work that requires a very skilled and experienced builder. And I emphasize experienced. We are lucky to be working with Luke Stahlberg of Ibex Builders. Luke is a talented local Bozeman contractor with years of experience in the remodeling industry. Luke is very methodical and well organized. This is a classic remodeling project with enough detail to really test a contractor’s skill and experience.

Viotti Architects combined the owner’s love of natural elements and passion for Yosemite’s Half Dome, El Capitan, with a nod to Eichler inspired architectural style. Another key component was to bring the outdoors in. Featured materials include Cedar, Ledger stone, stucco, Cherry Custom cabinets, golden tones in stone, White Oak Natural floors. This home’s architectural style stands the test of time and transcends trends.

This is an organic Lime Wash done with a true lime wash product as opposed to a brick mortar or concrete that is often seen on new houses. This product can be applied as a solid coating making the surface completely white, or can be applied and "washed off" in many artistic ways, as seen here. This Gloucester, MA ocean front pool incorporates a spa with a granite arch. Subsequently a half dome was added over the spa for privacy from neighbors. Water features spill from spa to pool. Blue stone decking. Pool has automatic cover for safety and heat retention.
