Unique features include a wall of natural leuders veneer stone with a custom floating ventilation system as a main focal point. Complementing the cabinets are countertops of Satin Cambrian black granite and Honed Calcatta Colorado Marble. This kitchen was inspired by a french countryside cottage. We used traditional design elements, warm worn finishes, along with french industrial lighting fixtures to bring a magical element to this space. To accent the rustic natural feel desired we introduced two vertical distressed wood posts flanking a sink vanity. No purpose other than for fun and accepting accessory hook for hand towel storage. To maintain a light sense of design we kept the vanity sink open underneath in a furniture styled cabinet with legs. -- Preview First

We transformed this space into a bright uplifting and family friendly kitchen space. We retained the original kitchen footprint and kept plumbing and electrical in the same locations for budgetary considerations. The kitchen was redesigned with entertaining in mind. From custom two-toned cabinetry to sophisticated banquette seating, we re-imagined a bright space with a new personality reaping the benefits of the influx of natural light from the double height windows in the adjacent great room. From the calcutta marble tile backsplash, caesarstone counter tops and porcelain tile floors, this updated kitchen provided my clients with their dream kitchen …a bright white entertainers delight. One of our favorite projects. This amazing remodeled kitchen is a showplace. If you are brave enough to choose a color it really pays off. Finished in a country green distressed look this kitchen is really eye catching. The vaulted ceiling and varied cabinets heights add to the charm. We clad the support post and worked it into the island to open the space up for this truly amazing kitchen. This space is not only stunning it is very functional. This project is in down town Huntington Beach, CA, but it could be anywhere in the country.
