The lattice panel for screening those pesky neighbors features stone transom inserts to mimic the transoms on the home. Small bluestone tables with orchids were custom-built for the base of each stone column.

This dining room originally had two windows looking out to the back and side yard. Kristina envisioned an open space that brought the outdoors in. She removed the windows and replaced them with two sets of french doors. Now this dining room feels much larger and is filled with natural light. Brad Knipstein was the photographer.

ATIID collaborated with these homeowners to curate new furnishings throughout the home while their down-to-the studs, raise-the-roof renovation, designed by Chambers Design, was underway. Pattern and color were everything to the owners, and classic “Americana” colors with a modern twist appear in the formal dining room, great room with gorgeous new screen porch, and the primary bedroom. Custom bedding that marries not-so-traditional checks and florals invites guests into each sumptuously layered bed. Vintage and contemporary area rugs in wool and jute provide color and warmth, grounding each space. Bold wallpapers were introduced in the powder and guest bathrooms, and custom draperies layered with natural fiber roman shades ala Cindy’s Window Fashions inspire the palettes and draw the eye out to the natural beauty beyond. Luxury abounds in each bathroom with gleaming chrome fixtures and classic finishes. A magnetic shade of blue paint envelops the gourmet kitchen and a buttery yellow creates a happy basement laundry room. This formal living room was transform for a family with three young children into a semi formal family space. By building this large fireplace surround and hiding inside it a large smart television and sound bar, the family is able to use the room for both formal and in formal hosting. there was a dry bar built on one side of the room to accommodate the many guests, and a small desk and chairs duplicating as a game table for the kids. photographed by Hulya Kolabas

MAGNUSSEN – Harper Farm Sliding pine barn board doors in the Harper Farm collection create a unique rustic wall system which would easily be as at home in an industrial setting as down on the farm. Executed in a Warm Pine finish on pine veneers and solids, this entertainment unit boasts open and closed storage as well as adjustable shelves and pullout bin-style drawers to meet every media need. Complete with Magnussen’s attention to every detail, pier units feature LED lights and felt lined drawers while wire management and levelers are also included. All these details plus board and batten design showcase an ingenious metal rail sliding door system which add up to the perfectly designed media wall.
