Inspiration for a transitional bathroom remodel in Minneapolis

Action Kitchen: One of the challenges of the project was to not only have a highly functional space, which meant having the components of a commercial kitchen, all while making it look attractive. Keeping the second floor Action Kitchen space bright and full of light was a main consideration, which is why the palette of light green was chosen for the walls. Housefitters played large role in selecting the cabinetry, tiles and appliances. Ensuring that the noise levels were not distracting to the other parts of the building, an intricate acoustical ceiling panel was designed. Not noticeable to the untrained eye, these panels are covered with a metallic acoustical fabric, which balances the workspace sound. Nantucket Looms supplied the table by Design Workshop - a custom-designed center island with an oak top and steel legs. The legs are on on casters, which allowed flexibility for the space. Barstow - American Backroads Barstow is a mix of natural flax with hints of cappuccino that play off weathered gray to combine for a superior reclaimed look. This floor is finished with Nature GARD, our protective hard wax oil finish that enhances the natural highlights of the wood’s colors.

Polished black granite 12 x 12 inch tiles reflect the light from the sliding glass doors. The raised tray ceiling is painted a pale lilac for a hint of color. The glass doors on the cabinets gives easy access to their contents. Stainless steel appliances and a industrial style refrigerator go well with the drawer pulls. Silver grey tones with hints of white throughout. Wonderful neutral gray that is subtle yet substantial. This floor is protected with Titanium ScuffGARD, a urethane finish reinforced with aluminum oxide nano particles that will preserve the beauty of your floors for years to come.

Kitchen and mudroom remodel. Full kitchen remodel including new hardwood floors throughout the first floor, new kitchen window, and new large French door to exterior in adjoining family room. The new design turned this kitchen into a great new open space combining the sitting room and kitchen into one new large space. Adding the large 10’ French door to the sitting room lets in tons of natural light as well as great views of the backyard. The cabinetry is Fabuwood Brand with the perimeter in Wellington Cinnamon and the island in a custom paint color Wild Blue Yonder ( yes, that’s right Fabuwood does custom colors!! ) The mudroom cabinetry is Fabuwood in Nexus Frost with a Deepstar Slate laminate bench top. The kitchen countertops are Truffle Quartzite which pulled the whole room together. The kitchen and surrounding flooring is engineered hardwood in Entrada Amendiom. The mudroom floors are Luxury vinyl Alterna Whispered Essence Hint.

After photos of this classic style bathroom. Not the biggest bathroom, but great use of space to incorporate a full vanity and bathtub. The beautiful gray tile floors and white tile back-splash in the shower goes great together. With little hints of blue tile really make the whole bathroom pop.
