I made it more inviting by adding floor tiles, an outdoor rug and outdoor furniture in white, so as not to absorb the sun.

Custom stain refinished floors, warm stained maple cabinets, beautifully rich multi-colored countertop, warm bronze sink, soft tiled backsplash with accent and layered lights for task and ambient lighting creates a warm and inviting kitchen to host family and friends.

These updated recliners in a soft blue bring out the tones in the distressed wood wall hanging.

The Everett end table, with it's curved hardwood legs, crackle-textured canvas fabric-wrapped top adorned with two rows of antiqued brass nails is the perfect companion for the Monterey sofa with it's transitional lines, the Maya round coffee table and the Corinne chair.

What we did:
I started with a floor plan. I knew the success of this design rested in how the space was mapped out.
Lisa and Charles love modern furniture, but they couldn’t seem give each room the warmth they were looking for with modern furnishings, despite their best efforts. I was inspired by photos that they gave me and certain elements in the home that they LOVED.
One thing they mentioned was the fireplace and its color. I decided that the fireplace had to be the starting point of the room design, and based the color palette off of that beautiful, earthy orange color.
Here’s the highlights of the rest of the project:
Charted out the furniture plan for each room.
Created blueprints for shelving above Cabinet Storage area. Lisa is an avid reader and my home girl needs a library!
Custom designed the sofas, chairs, and an ottoman for the living area.
Selected all furnishings, accessories, and art.
Created storage for the kids. They are now able to stash their toys when they’re not using them, reducing clutter and keeping the space nice and open.
What I love:
They gave me the green light to have fun with the fabrics and patterns in the family room. I had a ton of fun with the sofas!
That AH-mazing coffee table. It is very unique, and I cannot lie… I secretly wanted it for myself.
The art in their living room (very dramatic). With the scale of the room, I knew it was either go big or go home!

The terrace suite bedroom has natural design elements and neutral tones, with pops of red, ethnic prints and two large windows that flood the space with natural light.

An open floor plan with an easy comfortable flow was the client's request. The colors of the fabrics and the wood tones blend from each room, helping to anchor each separate space while still presenting a visually cohesive whole.

A cozy floor-to-ceiling fireplace, walls of glass, and chic furnishings define this home’s central gathering space.
This living room view into the kitchen shows the strong connection between spaces, which makes entertaining easy.

Designed and hand selected every feature of this master bath renovation. Because it is a small space, I maximized its potential by taking out the shower doors and transitioning to a double rod with curtains since this home has hard water, eliminated the short wall to make space for a hamper and added a vanity with plenty of drawer storage.
