Modern & Contemporary Interior DesignThis is my favorite space in the house. The light changes every hour, cool and refreshing in the morning to warm and golden on an evening. To make the most of this I added the sofa, coffee table and chairs with central fire place as a great space to socialize at any time. It is open to the kitchen so that when cooking and entertaining no-one is left out. The original 100+ year old door is an additional focal point and the window seat beckons you to enjoy a book or a game of chess, any time of the day.
I added spotlights to the recessed windows which creates incredible ambient light on an evening.
The bookshelves display personal pieces rather than books, offering an immersive experience and conversation starter for visitors and the yellow pops of color continue the theme of the home.
