We designed this preppy nautical themed bedfroom for the sweetest young man. Our 5 year old client surely had a lot of opinions and we worked on indulging his love for pretty nautical and vintage.

Inspiration for a timeless master gray floor and double-sink freestanding bathtub remodel in Minneapolis with recessed-panel cabinets, dark wood cabinets, beige walls, an undermount sink, gray countertops and a freestanding vanity

Our Music Lounge is located on the second floor of a stunning 100+ year-old Tudor-style residence in Hartford, CT—part of the 2025 Junior League of Hartford Designer Show House. When designing the space, we set out to celebrate Connecticut-based female artists. The room began with two key elements: a leafy, organic grasscloth wallpaper by Goshen artist Sarah Von Dreele, and an original painting titled Torch Singer by West Hartford’s Sandy Welch. Sandy’s portrait became the driving inspiration behind the color palette and the mood of the room.
The woman in the painting feels completely at ease—confident, expressive, and immersed in the music. We envisioned a well-traveled couple living here, wanting this space to evoke a cozy Parisian café tucked within their historic home—a moody, romantic retreat layered with stories. Most evenings, we imagine them here, unwinding to vintage records on the gramophone, sipping bourbon hot toddies by candlelight, and dreaming up their next overseas adventure. The room is intimate, eclectic, and richly layered—evoking nostalgia, warmth, and quiet indulgence. If cigarettes were still in fashion, this would be the room to lean back, light up, and lose track of time.

This interior bedroom design draws inspiration from the gentle embrace of the coastline. Airy fabrics, gentle sandy hues, and the artful layering of textures combine to evoke the soothing ambiance of a seaside retreat.
Each element, from the plush bedding to thoughtfully placed accents, channels the essence of beachside indulgence, seamlessly blending outdoor beauty with indoor elegance.
Framed by the window, the marina unfolds in a lively tableau. The soft movement of boats, shimmering reflections, and the rhythmic interplay of water all create a mesmerizing backdrop to the room’s calm and confident sophistication.
Beyond, the endless sweep of ocean blue beckons, enhancing the sense of openness and relaxation that defines the space.

Jules Moore’s reimagined Pueblo-style home in Santa Fe brings in light from the surrounding desert and features eclectic décor from her travels around the world.
The New Zealand-native immediately loved where the house was situated – perched on a canyon’s edge – when she initially saw the home. The house required a lot of work: it had been uninhabited for 10 years, and its small windows did little to brighten the space and emphasize the natural landscape.
Marvin’s Ultimate collection offered the level of customization Moore needed for her exact vision of the home. Moore also installed the Marvin Skycove in the home’s primary suite. The Skycove created the perfect space for Moore to enjoy watching the sunset and a cozy space for her French bulldog Sake to indulge in generous sunlight.
“Marvin was the only team that presented to me different options that were going to work for this home,” said Moore. “I wanted the picture windows, but I needed the classic element to match the colonial wood. I wanted awnings and these giant windows to pop out in my den and kitchen … they customized everything, exactly what I wanted.”

The sleeping amenities are symmetrical in detail down to double individual duvets; bed linens and drapes blend in brumal indulgence. The dining area is completed by a Portuguese pendant lamp, efficient seating on an upholstered storage bench, and recycled-composite chairs in ovate forms to counter the rectilinearity. Their profiles evoke the bulbous breakfast barstools, set among the contrast of stone countertop and satin stainless steel suspended in subtle kitchen cabinetry. An opposing volume, intersecting the interior wall, invites one to come in and cook; half is the entryway closet, half holds food storage.
