2019 Best Bathroom Design on Long Island Award Winner from the Metropolitan Institute of Interior Design. Luxurious Calacatta Gold marble bathroom for sophisticated living.

Western Massachusetts American Institute of Architects, Honor Award, 2010.
With Kuhn Riddle Architects.
Inspired by the tobacco barns and farmhouses of the surrounding area, this project was designed as a sustainable spec house for Tomlinson Builders. A single-story, 2,000 sqft home with 3 bedrooms, its open floor plan and flexible layout appeal to a variety of homeowners, from new families to recent retirees.
The simple geometric forms of the home are both modern and traditional, crisp and inviting.
To maintain the natural qualities of the site, outdoor spaces were conceived as small jewels of manicured space set into an otherwise uncultivated landscape.

Make a statement at ground level with this modernized classic!
Putting a spin on the traditional Hexagon paver that was often used for historic homes and buildings, the Hexa paver or slab takes a classic look and elevates it for modern landscape designs. This six-sided, elongated gem is taking center stage in landscaping, providing a unique geometric look that blends seamlessly in urban outdoors for the most sought-after style. From backyard patios and pool decks to driveways and walkways, this hexagon inspired paver is a great choice for both small and large spaces. When it comes to outdoor flooring, the Hexa adds dimension and style to all landscape renovation projects. A reliable option for residential projects as well as industrial, commercial and institutional applications. This pavement is also de-icing salt resistant, withstands harsh climates and comes with a transferable lifetime warranty.

Proper Paving Stone Installation
By following the proper steps of base preparation/compaction, detailed laying of the pavers, certified edge restraints and polymeric jointing sand – we are left with a driveway parking pad that will stay true for years to come!
Know your base! Lawn Enforcement takes pride in their high attention to detail and we only install to ICPI standards International Concrete Paver Institute. The most common failure that comes from paving stones is improper base and compaction. This will cause settling, rutting and edging failure in your finished product.
Overview of Materials Required for Paving Stones

Located above the coast of Malibu, this two-story concrete and glass home is organized into a series of bands that hug the hillside and a central circulation spine. Living spaces are compressed between the retaining walls that hold back the earth and a series of glass facades facing the ocean and Santa Monica Bay. The name of the project stems from the physical and psychological protection provided by wearing reflective sunglasses. On the house the “glasses” allow for panoramic views of the ocean while also reflecting the landscape back onto the exterior face of the building.

Passion project of our Dendochronologist client and his family, this addition shelters a set of spaces meant to feel both indoors and outdoors. Conditioned only by sun, wind, and the woodstove, the room functions as a multi-purpose glazed porch.
Surrounding the 1950 house of a style so common in the New England Landscape, our client has worked for a decade to “re-wild” the suburban yard with plantings gathered on fieldtrips around the region. Turning its back to the house, this addition treads lightly into this rich and textured landscape.
As the largest room in the house, it will host Thanksgiving dinner as well as it shelters quiet reading by the fire and cocktail parties in the gallery space and cookouts on the back porch. Aligned to extend our addition as close to the property line as bylaws permit, a diagonal wall also expresses the inside-outside connection’s incremental expansion to the North. Structure, shelter, enclosure, and fenestration act and and react to each other to modulate inhabitants’ relative senses of prospect and refuge. The Donna Dodson sculpture Redwing Rose was commissioned for the space.

The Pantone Institute has announced the color of the year for 2017. The color shade Greenery has been selected, which is a change from last year's colors: pastel Rose Quartz and Serenity. The selected color in a green tone is vivid and intense and is reminiscent of spring, a time which nature comes back to life. Space enriched with wall murals in Greenery hues will gain good energy and will inspire bold and positive changes.

Masonry Institute of Tennessee Award of Excellence in Masonry 2008 - First Place "The overall beauty of the design and the execution of the project are remarkable. A total integration of natural and cut stone, in conjunction with wood, creates a comprehensive result that is virtually a masterpiece." "The complete integration of stone masonry throughout this project is awe-inspired. Every detail is thoughtfully planned and beautifully executed." "A home of this age! A marriage of masonry and architecture wherever you look. This is a home that should stay in the family for many generations."
