Completed in 2015, this project incorporates a Scandinavian vibe to enhance the modern architecture and farmhouse details. The vision was to create a balanced and consistent design to reflect clean lines and subtle rustic details, which creates a calm sanctuary.

This "Post and Beam" home was an ongoing passion of the homeowner. As the designer, I was instrumental in the home's floor plan and finishing material (I designed and supplied all the cabinetry). The homeowners requested a unique design that accommodated their different styles. She liked traditional and he preferred it rustic. They were very happy with this on-of-a-kind kitchen.

Buckeye Basements with Team Member Columbus Custom Cabinets Delaware, Ohio The clients requested not only a remodeled basement featuring a guest bedroom and bathroom but, more importantly, a superb, temperature-controlled wine cellar to safely store 900 bottles. Every detail was meticulously planned, as maintaining a consistent temperature was essential for proper wine aging. The instrumental cooling system played a crucial role in the project’s design, ensuring optimal storage conditions. Each element was carefully considered to protect the integrity of the clients’ prized wine collection. Ultimately, the result was a spectacular space that not only preserves the collection but also serves as a celebration of fine wine.

This beautiful floor-to-ceiling guitar humidor was custom-built to display the homeowner's guitar collection while maintaining proper humidity for the instruments. The custom music cabinetry makes storing and using music equipment a breeze with drawers that slide in and out for use. Both music spaces use warm lighting and rustic wood elements to tie in seamlessly with the rest of the lower level's aesthetic, enhancing the experience of space.

A teenage girl's room thats a departure from the ordinary. This space was meticulously crafted to capture her love for music, museums, literature, and moments of quiet contemplation. Our design journey took us on a quest to create a space that not only exudes a moody atmosphere but also serves as a haven for relaxation, study, and cherished gatherings with friends.

Fitch’s kitchen backsplash features Polycor’s 1 cm Ultra-Thin White Cherokee marble slabs as the main focal point. Fitch worked with the architects at Bercy Chen Studio and Austin-based Empire Fabricators to design and install a bookmatched backsplash and thin profile countertop using that ultra thin stone in a honed finish. The project was also completed in large part with Latera Architectural Surfaces who were instrumental in making it a great success. Photo credits: Andrea Calo.
