This kitchen while modern and updated still has rustic elements (bar for example). Pendants provide a great lighting for the countertop, whille making a bold architectural statement in the kitchen. We love the modern but classic red cabinets. While this cabin is small in square footage. The dining/kitchen/family room open up to each other. The windows help to flood in natural lighting, while providing beautiful views to the majestic mountains just right outside. Photographer: Jason Dewey

The Living Room is inspired by the Federal style. The elaborate plaster ceiling was designed by Tom Felton and fabricated by Foster Reeve's Studio. Coffers and ornament are derived from the classic details interpreted at the time of the early American colonies. The mantle was also designed by Tom to continue the theme of the room. the wonderful peach color on the walls compliments the painting, rug and fabrics. Chris Cooper photographer.

For this client's move to a fabulous 2-storey mid-town apartment, we chose to work mainly with the client's own furnishings. In this combined living/dining area, we added several new pieces to complement the old. This fabulous custom art deco style armoire was formerly hidden away in the client's bedroom. Here, it is the focal point of the dining area -- a beautiful a very useful storage piece. A new glass-topped table and modern black dining chairs are understated complements. A modern mobile-style chandelier draws the eye upwards. Ingrid Punwani Photography
