Our mission was to gift Bonview with classic, natural and timeless style while setting it up with impressive functionality so that it was ready to be the pet-friendly, kid-friendly and entertaining-friendly home they needed it to be. Mission accepted! Our clients’ vision was clear: They wanted whites, blacks and wood tones with texture and personality. Oh, and that spunky wine fridge? Yep, that was a non-negotiable. ? “It’s not unusual for our friends and family to drop past unannounced any day of the week. And we love it!” They told us during our initial Design Therapy Sesh. We knew immediately what she meant - we have an open-door policy with our families, too! Which was why we consciously created living spaces that were open, inviting and welcoming. Now, the only problem our clients would have would be convincing their guests to leave! Our clients also enjoyed cooking and baking casually, so we created an organized, intuitive and functional kitchen and pantry that made whipping up homemade dips and snacks for their game nights a breeze.

The electronics featured in this media room are very cutting edge. A Wolf Cinema projector with a Variscope lens allows us to set up the most popular aspect ratios and project a brilliant light on a 143" diagonal screen. We utilized the latest pre/pro from Integra as well as Class D amplification from Bel Canto. The Integra incorporates Audyssey digital correction circuitry, which measures the room’s properties/acoustics and maximizes the sound in the room. The sources include an Oppo Blu ray player, AM/FM, DirecTV HD and AppleTV. The entire system is controlled by an RTI touchscreen remote for easy, intuitive control. The sound is effortless and it is a match made in heaven. The room consists of two rows of seating. The front row is a very comfortable pit seating group and the second row utilizes leather theater chairs. All of this leads to a well-appointed, acoustically superior media room. When Local DIRTT Partner Pigott re-imagined their Green Learning Center, they created a space for their team and clients alike. The result is a workplace where their team can do their best work and visiting clients are inspired. Filled with a variety of solutions, the space lets Clients experience the breadth of DIRTT capabilities. Surrounded by possibilities, Clients can envision how the solutions will impact their own spaces. With DIRTT and some strategic space planning, Pigott renovated the space without needing to expand the building. DIRTT millwork punctuates the central plaza of the space. An imbedded, touch-sensitive monitor in the conferencing area provides an intuitive solution for meetings. We used dark to light transitions throughout the first floor in order to emphasize the bright color palette in more heavily-used areas of the home. The foyer and entryway pictured here were painted darker shades of green and purple (colors which are also seen in brighter form in the living room and kitchen). These color cues serve to lead from transitional spaces to common living areas in a subtle, intuitive way. Meanwhile, the angled wall helps to lead the eye through the space, creating dramatic focal points.

This 12,000 sq. ft. luxury estate residence in Weston was outfitted with a fully integrated smart home system designed for both elegance and ease of use. The project features seamless integration of Lutron and Control4, delivering centralized control over lighting, shading, and security. High-end lighting fixtures were carefully selected and programmed to enhance architectural elements while creating adaptable ambiance throughout the home. A comprehensive surveillance system was also installed to ensure security without compromising aesthetics. This project focused on improving how light, movement, and daily life flow through the home. A key design move was the creation of a clear connection between floors that had long felt separate. In place of an enclosed non-compliant staircase, a new opening between levels transforms the stair into a central architectural feature, while skylights above draw natural light deep into the home. Acoustic cladding lines the stairwell to balance openness with comfort, and vertical walnut slats paired with a suspended chandelier visually link the two levels and emphasize the shared volume. The result is a home that feels brighter and more cohesive—where circulation is intuitive, spaces feel connected, and light is thoughtfully shared across every level.

This Jersey Shore vacation home was designed for relaxed, multigenerational living embracing a seamless connection between indoor and outdoor spaces. Generous areas for outdoor dining and lounging extend the home’s footprint, creating an easy rhythm of summer living—where days flow naturally from beach to terrace to interior gathering spaces. The design prioritizes openness, comfort, and connection, reflecting how the family lives, entertains, and spends time together. Interior spaces are thoughtfully arranged to support both quiet moments and larger gatherings, with clear sightlines and an intuitive flow that keeps family and guests connected throughout the home. At the center of this plan, the kitchen functions as a natural gathering point without overwhelming the overall composition. Designed to support shared use, it allows multiple people to cook and interact comfortably. Structural elements, including load-bearing posts were integrated into the architecture as sculptural features—transforming a constraint into a defining design moment. Sub-Zero and Wolf appliances were selected for their durability, performance, and timeless design, ensuring the home will serve the family for years to come. The result is a home that feels both elevated and effortless—where architecture, interiors, and landscape work in harmony to create a setting for gathering, entertaining, and everyday living at the shore.
