This outdoor space epitomizes indoor/outdoor living. The roof extension creates a pavilion area built for entertaining. It's wired for music, and incorporates lighting throughout the deck, railing and stairs to illuminate the way even after the sun goes down. The deck was built with Fiberon Horizon composite decking, in the color 'Ipe'. Photo courtesy of Clemens Jellema, Fine Decks, Inc.

We love texture and dimension so what we did here was add a purple tint to the room by using the white picket tiles on the walls and led lighting to sort of bounce that color off those walls and add the slightest hue to the room. The stone look tile starts on the walls and ends in its mosaic form on the floor while the space in between gives it walk space to go from the tub, to the shower.

A new English Tudor Style residence, outfitted with all the amenities required for a growing family, includes this third-floor space that was developed into an exciting children’s play space. Tucked above the children’s bedroom wing and up a back stair, this space is a counterpoint to the formal areas of the house and provides the kids a place all their own. Large dormer windows allow for a light-filled space. Maple for the floor and end wall provides a warm and durable surface needed to accommodate such activities as basketball, indoor hockey, and the occasional bicycle. A sound-deadening floor system minimizes noise transmission to the spaces below.

Modern addition with office, family room, and full kitchen renovation. Used IKEA for kitchen. Features a large modern corner window.

Bringing in the light. This kitchen was reimagined to take advantage of its large existing footprint. We encouraged natural light to stream in through the larger windows and bounce around the bright colored walls and cabinetry. Colors of the garden were used to ground the space, creating a bright and airy environment perfect for a quiet morning coffee.

This cozy and inviting Family room is comfortable and more importantly functional. Any guest will feel comfortable and have access to any table for their drinks. Functional design is so important yet beautiful. The calming cream colored walls make everything else bounce perfectly in colors making a soothing and welcoming space. The seating is quality made to sit comfortably. The custom window treatments open up these large windows for beautiful views. Keeps this space airy and open. Lighting is equally balanced also giving enough lighting needed, yet pretty. The mixing of patterned fabrics along with the rug show you it can be done in keeping a good balance.
This Family room is warm, cozy, and so pretty!
