Trendy light wood floor and beige floor living room photo in San Francisco

This 1950’s mid century ranch had good bones, but was not all that it could be - especially for a family of four. The entrance, bathrooms and mudroom lacked storage space and felt dark and dingy. The main bathroom was transformed back to its original charm with modern updates by moving the tub underneath the window, adding in a double vanity and a built-in laundry hamper and shelves. Casework used satin nickel hardware, handmade tile, and a custom oak vanity with finger pulls instead of hardware to create a neutral, clean bathroom that is still inviting and relaxing. The entry reflects this natural warmth with a custom built-in bench and subtle marbled wallpaper. The combined laundry, mudroom and boy's bath feature an extremely durable watery blue cement tile and more custom oak built-in pieces. Overall, this renovation created a more functional space with a neutral but warm palette and minimalistic details. This luxurious master bedroom combines romance and modern elegance. A custom canopy bed, created from a regular bed frame combined with a sleek curtain track design, creates a dreamy centerpiece. The Fornasetti wallpaper accent wall adds an artistic statement, while pops of gold in the decor bring warmth and sophistication. Soft, white furnishings and layered textures enhance the serene, inviting ambiance, making this space the perfect retreat for relaxation and refinement.

Inspiration for a large timeless backyard stone patio remodel in Columbus with a fire pit

The layout of this bathroom was reconfigured by locating the new tub on the rear wall, and putting the toilet on the left of the vanity. The wall on the left of the existing vanity was taken out.

This "perfect-sized" laundry room is just off the mudroom and can be closed off from the rest of the house. The large window makes the space feel large and open. A custom designed wall of shelving and specialty cabinets accommodates everything necessary for day-to-day laundry needs.
