These homeowners wanted to organize their small backyard into a family friendly space for all to enjoy. Key elements included a covered deck, space for a patio, space for a trampoline, and privacy from neighbors that did not feel like a typical fence. We selected Azek Vintage decking in Coastline to create a clean, light modern look for the deck and built-in bench. The Lexan trellis allows light in, but keeps the space underneath dry. Integrated low voltage lights illuminate the space under the trellis as well as the deck steps. Raised planters create pockets of green within the composition. The design also accommodates a hot tub and large trampoline. The end result is a space that the entire family can enjoy!

Various layers of colour and texture were key elements in creating a home filled with life, warmth and style for a young family to enjoy!

This dreamy bedroom is just the right space for the precious little girl is was designed for. Worthy of the investment made it will transition from a toddler's room though the teenage years and beyond. The color palette of raspberry, blue, white and warm taupe it is fresh, youthful and timeless. The mix of patterns and textures layer in to make this a warm and cozy place to play, read and sleep. The custom wainscoting is spectacular and a beautiful foundation to the design. All of the key elements work together to make this space balanced, functional and beautiful. Located in the historic Central Gardens neighborhood in Memphis, the project sought to revive the outdoor space of a 1920’s traditional home with a new pool, screened porch, and garden design. After renovating the 1920’s kitchen, the client sought to improve their outdoor space. The first step was replacing the existing kidney pool with a smaller pool more suited to the charm of the site. With the careful insertion of key elements, the design creates spaces which accommodate, swimming, lounging, entertaining, gardening, cooking and more. “Strong, organized geometry makes all of this work and creates a simple and relaxing environment,” Designer Jeff Edwards explains. “Our detailing takes on updated freshness, so there is a distinction between new and old, but both reside harmoniously.” The screened porch actually has some modern detailing that compliments the previous kitchen renovation, but the proportions in materiality are very complimentary to the original architecture from the 1920s. The screened porch opens out onto a small outdoor terrace that then flows down into the backyard and overlooks a small pool.

Our Music Lounge is located on the second floor of a stunning 100+ year-old Tudor-style residence in Hartford, CT—part of the 2025 Junior League of Hartford Designer Show House. When designing the space, we set out to celebrate Connecticut-based female artists. The room began with two key elements: a leafy, organic grasscloth wallpaper by Goshen artist Sarah Von Dreele, and an original painting titled Torch Singer by West Hartford’s Sandy Welch. Sandy’s portrait became the driving inspiration behind the color palette and the mood of the room. The woman in the painting feels completely at ease—confident, expressive, and immersed in the music. We envisioned a well-traveled couple living here, wanting this space to evoke a cozy Parisian café tucked within their historic home—a moody, romantic retreat layered with stories. Most evenings, we imagine them here, unwinding to vintage records on the gramophone, sipping bourbon hot toddies by candlelight, and dreaming up their next overseas adventure. The room is intimate, eclectic, and richly layered—evoking nostalgia, warmth, and quiet indulgence. If cigarettes were still in fashion, this would be the room to lean back, light up, and lose track of time.

This newly constructed open floor plan home with a large finished basement is ideal for this fun-loving couple. We were fortunate to be included in the very beginning stages of construction space planning to optimize room placement, layout, and spacing. From there, we worked side-by-side with homeowners and contractor in selecting all of the details from floors and doors to lighting and window treatments. These empty nesters love to entertain. Both the main level and the downstairs offer great flow. A bit of luxury was added in the master bathroom with this soaker tub and custom tile shower.
