The laundry room has plenty of built-ins included a hidden spot for the kitty litter box. Pocket doors keep the laundry room closed off from the rest of the home.

Our clients are both veterinarians and have two cats, so we personalized this cabinet door for them. It provides access to a hidden litter box inside the cabinet. The cat door in the wall leads from the mudroom into the enclosed laundry room to give the cats free-roaming access.

This is the Catio designed for my clients 5 adopted kitties with issues. She came to me to install a vestibule between her garage and the family room which were not connected. I designed that area and when she also wanted to take the room she was currently using as the littler box room into a library I came up with using the extra space next to the new vestibule for the cats. The living room contains a custom tree with 5 cat beds, a chair for people to sit in and the sofa tunnel I designed for them to crawl through and hide in. I designed steps that they can use to climb up to the wooden bridge so they can look at the birds eye to eye out in the garden. My client is an artist and painted portraits of the cats that are on the walls. We installed a door with a frosted window and a hole cut in the bottom which leads into another room which is strictly the litter room. we have lots of storage and two Litter Robots that are enough to take care of all their needs. I installed a functional transom window that she can keep open for fresh air. We also installed a mini split air conditioner if they are in there when it is hot. They all seem to love it! They live in the rest of the house and this room is only used if the client is entertaining so she doesn't have to worry about them getting out. It is attached to the family room which is shown here in the foreground, so they can keep an eye on us while we keep an eye on them.

Our clients imagined a space where they could enjoy the outdoors without bugs/weather conditions. The SunSpace window system are vinyl windows that fold down and collapse on themselves to create a screened in porch. We installed screen material under the low maintenance, composite Trex deck to keep bugs out. They wanted a space that felt like an extension of their home. This laundry / mud room was created with optimal storage using Waypoint 604S standard overlay cabinets in Painted Cashmere color with a raised panel door. The countertop is Wilsonart in color Betty. A Blanco Silgranit single bowl top mount sink with an Elkay Pursuit Flexible Spout faucet was also installed.

Fozzy knows we can’t reach him up on the highest cat shelf in the catio! While renovating our 1920s vintage bungalow we wanted a special place for the cats so we added a screened-in porch also known as the cat porch as it's designed to please the indoor cats and keep them entertained all day. Two cat doors on either side of our front door lead out to the screened front porch so that everyone can come and go as they please. There are also walkways, corner platforms, and a sisal rope fireman's pole so they can climb up and down it like a tree and use it for a scratch post.
