This beautiful hardscape stairway was difficult to navigate in the evening hours. We tastefully added a few well spaced elegant pathway lighting fixutres and achieved a safe staircase that is also beautiful!

The driveway entrance includes a visitor and guest as well as a mudroom door in the corner. Low and perennial plantings reduce maintenance in the Winter months. Paul Maue

A 1950's home gets a big update with new fencing, arbors, rear deck, and front gate. Working with a skilled finish carpenter, we created a beautiful new fence to enclose this family-friendly yard. A small lawn provides space to play and enjoy, while California natives and complimentary shrubs surround the yard. Mature trees are protected with natural wood chip mulch. Rock mulch surrounds the 5-foot perimeter of the house with a few low fuel plants for a fire-safe landscape appropriate to the California foothills.

This style captures the traditional picket fence look from the pointed picket tops to the New England Style Cedar post caps. The timeless style of this fence will make a great back drop to your landscaping while keeping your little ones and pets safely in the yard.

An entertaining highlight is the waterslide which is accessed via flagstone steps and ledgerock walls built into the hillside and surrounded by dense plantings to look like they’ve always been there. Sliders drop safely into the pool at a notched landing area separate from the rest of the deep section. Two sheer descent waterfalls add a touch of drama.

The original 25 year old deck stairs had rotted and not safe anymore. An unknown landscape designer designed an entire backyard patio escape, so we built the new deck stairs as part of their design and they were going to do the patio later.
