This gray and transitional kitchen remodel bridges the gap between contemporary style and traditional style. The dark gray cabinetry, light gray walls, and white subway tile backsplash make for a beautiful, neutral canvas for the bold teal blue and yellow décor accented throughout the design. Designer Gwen Adair of Cabinet Supreme by Adair did a fabulous job at using grays to create a neutral backdrop to bring out the bright, vibrant colors that the homeowners love so much. This Milwaukee, WI kitchen is the perfect example of Dura Supreme's recent launch of gray paint finishes, it has been interesting to see these new cabinetry colors suddenly flowing across our manufacturing floor, destined for homes around the country. A pair of brass swing arm wall sconces are mounted over custom built-in cabinets and stacked oak floating shelves. The texture and sheen of the square, hand-made, Zellige tile backsplash provides visual interest and design style while large windows offer spectacular views of the property creating an enjoyable and relaxed atmosphere for dining and entertaining.

A custom beverage center adds both function and sophistication with dual wine coolers, upper storage, stemware racks, and a warm wood countertop. The shimmering mosaic backsplash creates a beautiful focal point while complementing the timeless gray cabinetry.

In this kitchen we updated the existing cabinets with new Richelieu transitional brushed nickel knobs and pulls. We installed a 3cm Granite Giallo Napolean with 3/8” bevel edge and 4” high backsplash countertop. The tile backsplash is Durango 3x6 beveled. A Lenova stainless steel undermount sink was installed with a Moen Arbor pull down faucet in stainless steel and a Kichler Keller single bulb pendant with schoolhouse-style glass shade installed over the sink.

A large master bathroom that exudes glamor and edge. For this bathroom, we adorned the space with a large floating Alderwood vanity consisting of a gorgeous cherry wood finish, large crystal knobs, LED lights, and a mini bar and coffee station. We made sure to keep a traditional glam look while adding in artistic features such as the creatively shaped entryway, dramatic black accent walls, and intricately designed shower niche. Other features include a large crystal chandelier, porcelain tiled shower, and subtle recessed lights. Home located in Glenview, Chicago. Because of the gorgeous variation of our Patina glaze, you can use just this one color and end up with a backsplash that is just as interesting as if you used 5 colors.
