Pro Dunk Silver IS LOVED Sioux City. Ryan wants people out there to realize there is not a better product on the market. His driveway is now "Basketball Central" in his neighborhood. Ryan's son loves the system so much, hes logged over 20,000 shots in just the last 10 weeks. We are impressed at Pro Dunk. And, very glad because practice is one of the main goal of Pro Dunk. Yeah, we really think over 10,000 shots in 10 weeks counts as practice.

Party Palace - Custom Ranch on Acreage in Ridgefield Washington by Cascade West Development Inc.
The peaceful parental oasis that was well deserved for this hardworking household consists of many luxurious details, some obvious and some not so much. First a little extra insulation in the walls, in the efforts of sound-dampening, silence goes a long way in the search for serenity. A personal fireplace with remote control makes sleeping in on chilly winter weekends a dream come true. Last, but certainly not least is the Master Bath. A stone surround enclave with an elevated soaker tub, bay window and hidden flat-screen tv are the centerpiece here. The enclave is flanked by double vanities, each with separate countertops and storage (marble and custom milled respectively) so daily routines are a breeze. The other highlights here include a full tile surround walk-in shower with separate wall-mounted shower heads and a central rainfall faucet. Lastly an 8 person sauna can be found just off the master bath, with a jacuzzi just outside. These elements together make a day relaxing at home almost indiscernible from a day at the spa.

The past 10 years have seen an explosion of outdoor kitchens and products that transform the backyard into an entertainment space, family gathering place or romantic enclave. What brings people together? Food and libations, and that’s the whole point of moving your kitchen outdoors..
We are a complete design/build service specializing in custom masonry and full masonry outdoor living environments offering you something few others can, a chance to own something permanent and real. Our masonry kitchens and fireplaces are built to last. Not your common modular/prefab units with metal or wood framed walls, tile board and stucco finishes. We feature solid CMU Block structures with stone cladding that will last for decades without breaking down or rotting away. Our counter tops are installed using stainless steel cross members, mortar and stone, not tile and grout atop particle board, which will eventually break down when water seeps through.
Once you know what you will be doing with your outdoor patio, it will be easy to determine the appropriate size for it. Will you be using it for barbecue parties on weekends, or will you keep it as a peaceful retreat for yourself and your family? Share these priorities with your Sunset Contractor so that you both understand the final result of the patio construction that you are looking for.

The funny thing about designing and then building your own house, as this couple did, is the assumption that it will outlive you. And it will, to a degree. But a home is more than its structural bones. You love it on day one because it’s fresh and new. It serves all your purposes. But how will you like it in 7,304 days or 20 years when it no longer works?
So what do you do when the honeymoon is over? Move? Or stay and improve? More and more people are making their home into their last home.
Let's face it. Design is only as timeless as the people who live in it. When our families grow or shrink, or our knees give out, the design of our home needs to catch up to us—to accommodate the current us as well as the future us.
In the case of these homeowners, it became clear that nothing really worked anymore or looked aesthetically pleasing. Their lives at home had changed in many ways and their home needed to catch up.
So, we redesigned the entire layout with longevity in mind. We upgraded all the surfaces, solved the unsightly aspects, and gave them functionality balanced properly with a modern, uplifting aesthetic.
More and more homeowners are considering the possibility of a “forever home” instead of the move-up approach, which usually includes elements of universal design and/or aging-in-place remodeling.

Villa Lumina, in Paphos, Cyprus, blends modern architecture and practicality with nature preservation. We made sure to harmonize nature with the modern style, integrating trees into the overall design for the house and terrace.
The materials used, like stone, wood, and porcelain stoneware, not only match the Cypriot scenery but are also long-lasting and environmentally friendly. For instance, stone surfaces look nice and are able to withstand the elements well, whereas wood keeps the warmth inside. The villa has two separate parts - a spacious open plan kitchen, dining and living area, and a more secluded part containing a main bedroom, walk-in closet, kids' rooms, and private bathrooms. Entering the house leads to a courtyard which is connected to the terrace and pool area and extends the living space.

Engineered cedar siding creates beautiful gray-blue tones at the exterior of the home, while adding a textural element to activate the simple exterior design.

I was fortunate to meet a couple who recently moved to Toronto from Bermuda, where they lived for the last thirty years. Their 10-year-old downtown condo unit did not reflect the couple’s sense of design or lifestyle. My clients love to cook and entertain and wanted a functional kitchen outfitted with high-end appliances, sitting for six to eight people, upscale finishes, better lighting, and more privacy for the unit. I delivered exactly that and more!
The living space was transformed into a sophisticated room with an area for a small desk, dry bar, and comfortable seating for entertaining or TV watching. New integrated doors provided unique privacy to the rest of the condo.

Kitchen design by Astrid Newton Rush Interiors
FCD: How does your design process work?
Astrid: My design process begins with getting to know my clients and observing the space in which they live. I ask questions, I listen and I take notes. I trust in my instincts. I am very open and honest with my clients. I tell them if I think they are on the wrong track or making poor decisions. As for the process itself, I believe in inspiration and doing the right thing. This applies to both people and place. I like to involve my clients in the choices I make for them. I aim to create a home environment that they will appreciate and enjoy when my work is finished.
FCD: Our last job together was the modern kitchen and I saw how closely you worked with our kitchen design and the owners wishes. It was truly a collaboration and the end result showed all the hard work that went into the design.

Surround yourself with beauty, relaxation and natural fun in Georgia’s Blue Ridge, only 90 miles north of Atlanta via I-575 and Hwy 515, but a million miles away from the traffic, stress and anxiety of the city. With 106,000 acres located in the Chattahoochee National Forest, Blue Ridge is definitely the cure for whatever ails you. Rent a cozy cabin or a luxury mountain home, or stay in a bed & breakfast inn or hotel -- and simply relax.
Enjoy Mother Nature at her best…
Renew your spirit on a day hiking to nearby waterfalls or horseback riding on forested trails in the Chattahoochee National Forest. Bring the family and discover the thrill of an Ocoee River whitewater rafting adventure, ride on the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway or treetop canopy adventure. Rent a pontoon or a jet ski on beautiful Lake Blue Ridge. Pick strawberries or blueberries at Mercier's, a 65 year old family orchard. Catch a trout on the tailwaters of the Toccoa River or a clear mountain stream; Blue Ridge is the Trout Fishing Capital of Georgia.
Fall in Love with Blue Ridge…
Fall in love with the authentic mountain towns of Blue Ridge and McCaysville. Blue Ridge is an Art Town, filled with art galleries, antique and specialty shops, restaurants, small town atmosphere and friendly people. A river runs through the quaint town of McCaysville, twin city with Copperhill, Tennessee. Stand in both states at one time at the Blue Line, which marks the spot where Georgia ends and Tennessee begins. Here the Toccoa River becomes the Ocoee River, flowing northward into Tennessee.
