Originally used as a landing space which was too far away from the front door and was severely under utilized. Since this is a rental apartment, I used temporary vinyl adhesive wallpaper and created a handbag wall for the busy career woman. This wine cellar design CA is composed of two wine cabinets, both of which feature a Barolo style wine cellar door with dual pane glass. We added a fixed glass window at the center. The wine racks were constructed from Premium Redwood. Racking features include label forward horizontal displays, high reveal display rows, wooden case storage, and lattice open diamond bins. LED display lighting installed by a California builder illuminates the cabinet wine cellar dramatically. This elegant wine cellar was built out of a clear coated Walnut wood and holds roughly 520 bottles of wine. The solid wood counter tops on either side of the room are perfect for those special events to serve wine and appetizers or can be used to place several cases to be organized and put away. The display boxes on either side of the beautiful picture opening, provides a unique place to show off some special wine bottles or art. A high gloss paint finish makes this closet shine. It features a large built-in dresser, handbag display case behind glass inset doors and drawers below for accessories. We built three boxes just for shoes with adjustable slanted shelves with a toe lip. Wardrobe boxes are 24 inches deep and lit throughout with LED lighting. Wardrobe rods, hardware and accessories in beautiful brass. Wallpaper gives this space an extra element of glam!

The entryway wall and custom wine cellar door CA (Herculite style) were crafted from glass. This gave the otherwise traditional wine cellar a distinctly contemporary look. As you can see, the glass wall and entryway wall make for excellent wine showcasing. The glass panels were insulated and equipped with weather stripping to help stabilize the conditions in the wine cellar.
