To stay or to go? This is the question our clients are still pondering. Yet, as their youngest child heads off to college, they are ready to enjoy their new kitchen or feature it in a real estate listing. Since they were unsure of their plans, we decided a pull and replace renovation was the logical — and most economical—choice. While all appliances remain in their same locations, we were able to make easy adjustments with cabinetry to update the space: convert a desk to a beverage center; increase the size of the island; install an island countertop with overhang for seating; and lengthen the perimeter cabinetry and add a tip-up, on-counter cabinet to house small appliances. The color palette was based on introducing warm grays to the space while ensuring the existing Brazilian cherry floor remained compatible with the new design. A combination of light gray and dark gray painted cabinetry (Medallion, Irish Crème and Frappe) updates the space, along with bronze finishes. A unique hex-patterned white tile backsplash with contrasting gray grout on the perimeter adds interest yet keeps the focus on the island. We installed the understated Cambria Whitehall on the perimeter with the vivid Cambria Skara Brae on the island. We worked closely with the stone fabricator to ensure the Skara Brae’s veining pattern matched the client’s vision. Above the island countertop, we installed two oversized pendants to add intensity and beauty as you enter the room.

Overlooking one of the most utilized parks in Austin, TX, this residence was designed to capture views below. DRM Design Group worked closely with the architect and home builder to create a seamless transition from interior to exterior spaces. The project included a saltwater pool, privacy screen, custom entry gate, custom metal vegetable planters & benches, and an outdoor kitchen.

Here is a Beautiful Deck that was built in Downingtown, PA. It was built with TimberTech Slate Evolutions decking and White Vinyl Railing with Black Aluminum Balusters. The Front of the deck was built in a curve as requested from the home owner. Wrap around Steps were installed on one side of the deck going down to ground level, closing off the bottom of the deck. Custom designed by MossCreek, this four-seasons resort home in a New England vacation destination showcases natural stone, square timbers, vertical and horizontal wood siding, cedar shingles, and beautiful hardwood floors. MossCreek's design staff worked closely with the owners to create spaces that brought the outside in, while at the same time providing for cozy evenings during the ski season. MossCreek also made sure to design lots of nooks and niches to accommodate the homeowners' eclectic collection of sports and skiing memorabilia. This new, ground-up home was recently built atop the Richmond Hills. Despite the beautiful site with its panoramic 270-degree view, the lot had been left undeveloped over the years due to its modest size and challenging approval issues. Saikley Architects handled the negotiations for County approvals, and worked closely with the owner-builder to create a 2,300 sq. ft., three bedroom, two-and-a-half bath family home that maximizes the site’s potential. The first-time owner-builder is a landscape builder by trade, and Saikley Architects coordinated closely with for him on this spec home. This active family invited us into their Milton home to help create a poolside paradise that would serve as a multifunctional outdoor living space that could be used for year-round enjoyment. The stunning rectangular swimming pool anchors the center of the backyard and features a raised spa with dual cascading waterfalls and a large tanning ledge perfect for cooling off during those lazy days of summer. The classic style covered cabana sits poolside and houses an impressive, outdoor stacked stone fireplace with mounted tv, a vaulted tongue and groove ceiling and an outdoor living room perfect for hosting family and friends.

This outdoor cabana kitchen was turned into private sanctuary once the owners added Weatherwell Elite aluminum shutters. It gave them the flexibility to block the wind and the sun glare when needed, or open up to the view. It also created some much needed privacy from their neighbors. Now they can use their cabana 365 days a year.
