Custom floor tiles designed and manufactured and installed in Chattanooga,TN by Göser Tile Studio. The particular Tennessee logo is a specific orange which was custom matched. Also part of the project was installing new toilet and vanity to complete the space.

Designer Steven Gambrel offsets the curves of an elliptical stairway with carpet in the Logo pattern, the squares and palette of which carry the checkerboard entry floor all the way to the top of the house.

Within a modernist house nestled in the hills, a family of five wanted to create a minimalist home to suit their casual, indoor/outdoor lifestyle. Our clients for this project, who have discerning tastes, but also love to have fun, collaborated with us on every detail. Everything in the home contains meaning, from the typographic artwork in the dining room that spells out “family” in logos, to graphics calling out the ownership of lockers in the mudroom, to the surfboards that line the stairwell like functional artwork. All-white walls allow these details to take center stage, while Fleetwood doors slide open to usher the outdoors in and continuous concrete flooring unifies the indoor and outdoor spaces. Italian cabinetry, an opaque glass accent wall and an internal garage door that rolls up to reveal an industrial workout room complement the contemporary architecture, while in other spaces reclaimed barnwood and retro tiles provide a playful sense of contrast.

Appointment Information Unlike full showrooms open to the general public, Main Line Kitchen Design works only by appointment. Appointments can be scheduled days, nights, and weekends either in your home or in our office and selection center. During office appointments we display clients kitchens on a flat screen TV and help them look through 100’s of sample doorstyles, almost a thousand sample finish blocks and sample kitchen cabinets. During home visits we can bring samples, take measurements, and make design changes on laptops showing you what your kitchen can look like in the very room being renovated. This is more convenient for our customers and it eliminates the expense of staffing and maintaining a larger space that is open to walk in traffic. We pass the significant savings on to our customers and so we sell cabinetry for less than other dealers, even home centers like Lowes and The Home Depot. We believe that since a web site like Houzz.com has over half a million kitchen photos, any advantage to going to a full kitchen showroom with full kitchen displays has been lost.
